We frequently visit The Pineapple Cafe and ALWAYS receive not just exceptional food, cake and coffee but a warm welcome and incredible service. The team at the cafe go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and do their upmost to accommodate any requests or dietary requirements.

The menu is varied and provides a selection that will cater to everyone. There is hot, freshly cooked food, bagels, sandwiches and not to mention a fantastic collection of homemade cakes. Coffee is smooth and hot and provided in a great size mug. Milkshakes to rival the best and a great soft drink selection.

Dogs and not only welcome but given the five star treatment.

There is free parking just outside the front door which is really helpful if you have little people with you and there is a canopy over the large glass frontage, which is helpful, as you can leave your buggy out the front whilst being able to see it.

There is also a fully secure and enclosed terrace which has both sunny and shady spots for the hot summer afternoons. Ample table, chairs parasols available.

Toilet facilities are sizable with a changing unit area within the lockable toilet facilities - as a mum this is very handy. IYKYK.

Locally sourced produce is used where possible and goes a long way to showing the owners commitment to her local community and other independent businesses.

Overall, this is one of our favourite spots and we can not recommend...

I recently visited pineapple cafe, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best cafés I’ve ever been to! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and cozy ambiance—soft lighting, rustic décor, and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air.

The menu offers an incredible selection of drinks, from rich, velvety lattes to expertly crafted pour-overs. I tried their [signature drink], and it was absolutely phenomenal—smooth, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. Their pastries and breakfast options are just as impressive; the [specific dish] was freshly made, beautifully presented, and bursting with taste.

What truly sets this café apart is the staff. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a great spot to relax, they make sure you have an unforgettable experience.

If you want a great cream tea you don't have to go to Devon or Harrods! This place is a hidden diamond and totally worth a visit. Make sure you don't eat before you go as the afternoon tea for two gives you plenty to get you teeth into. We were asked to give 48 hours notice for the full afternoon tea experience as opposed to dropping in for tea and a cake, so that is worth bearing in mind. The cakes are made by the owner and they are fantastic, I challenge you to find a better lemon drizzle cake or chocolate brownie. It is clean, wonderful food, really friendly and helpful service and a great choice. Parking was very easy as well which is always a bonus. I don't hesitate to recommend this as a treat! My wife and I have been there before for coffee and a cake, but this was the first visit for a full blown afternoon tea - and it was grand! Remember - don't eat much before you go there - otherwise you will need a doggy bag to bring...
