Staff member was either a joker or a stickler for the rules.
I drove through the drive through which had 1 car in front of me. I drove to the menu screen which was turned off. No one spoke so I carried on to the next window where the blind was down. I wondered if it wasn't open yet as only recently built but then as I carried on to the final window there was a car there so I knew it was open. When I got to the window the guy said to me I was supposed to order at the microphone. I apologised and asked if I could order there. He said no and I asked if I'd have to drive round again which he said yes I would have to. Bear in mind there was NO ONE behind me.
Anyway, I drove around again and when I got to the window, I presented my forces discount card which he refused to take. He said I needed to use the app. I've never had to use an app before to get my forces discount, I always just present it and they do it on the till. Absolute joker.
Only plus side was the food was piping hot and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a KFC and sometimes the wait is far more than you want - however today for example I was in and out within 5 minutes which was great as when you are on a half hour lunch break you do not want to fanny about waiting in line for 25 minutes only to realize you now have 30 seconds to eat your lunch!!
One big point I want to make though is where the straws and other bits are positioned, let's imagine it's busy and all the seats are taken and you get your order with your drink and you just want to escape the cramped shop that it is at this point then realize you need a straw which is on the other side of the room by the window and you need to bust out some zig zag moves to even get to them and then back again and then you wonder why the bin located next to the order point is even there and wonder why this bin is not swapped with the stuff that EVERY customer wants..... anyway maybe it's just me.... but if it's not sort it out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEdit: I ordered off uber eats, screenshot over the 2 hours of waiting for the driver to make a 2 min drive, he then went (home I assume) with my order to Highbridge. My order then disappeared off the app, I went into store, the manager refused to come to the front but my order appeared magically and was cancelled (by the manager) and there was no offer to re order or anything. I waited over 3 hours and didn't get my food, I am applying to PayPal for a refund as this speaks volumes about the manager working 18/11/2020 and the uber driver Corey who didn't bother to deliver my order.
Was a bit of a wait, but its more than understandable during covid, the staff were friendly even when swamped by customers, they helped me with the kfc app and didn't want to rush me along.... the food was absolutely amazing, the best kfc I have had in...
