More like a sea of discontent Came here last year and was very good - this time could not have been more different Not friendly or nice here at all. On our visit last year we came here and had coffees and a pasty from next door we even talked with one of the staff who was eating one herself. This year we came by again and as there were four of us we ordered drinks and sandwiches from them. When she came with the food and drinks a very rude and surly lady was really nasty about me eating my pasty !! Saying how busy they were - in fact they werenāt at all !! She kept coming back to check I was not eating my pasty too - bit like a prison camp !! One of us had a scone which was dry hard and old which to give it to her,the warder did give us a refund ! So I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy !! No wonder its not busy here . Also you donāt get any jam with yr scone itās 75p extra !! Really the behaviour was a bad representation of customer service to my relatives from the EU...

We came here for a coffee on the way into town - everything was really good quality and very reasonable. The seating area upstairs felt especially calm and created a welcome pause in a busy day. After a significant wait to be seated in the tate cafe, we gave up and came back here for lunch too. Absolutely delicious panini! Would highly recommend this cafe, we will certainly be coming back the next...

We ordered a hot chocolate each and the seasonal flavours were excellent, a great range of options and choice! We left warm, full and keen to come...
