Silktown Fryer — Restaurant in England

I visited last week with my friend, we both had pudding, chips,peas and gravy one with a pot of tea the other a can of coke , the meals were served on what can only be described as mini plates and as a consequence the the food was piled high the gravy and peas featured on top of the pile of food and so was not at all well presented or appetising i would also say for me the gravy made all the chips sodden spoiling the meal I would have preferred the gravy to be be in a small jug so that it could be added as required . We both visited the toilet during our visit and found no soap or hand drying towels available i thought this was unforgivable in a food restaurant . The cost of our meals was £25.00 we thought this was excessive compared with similar establishments in other towns. For these reasons I would not recommend this establishment and will continue to patronise many others offering quality at...

One star for the order and subsequent response from the female member of staff that answered our call, food ordered via uber eats arrived cold, jacket potatoes with beans and cheese, the beans lukewarm and the one with cheese stone cold and the grated cheese not melted. The response was that we could microwave the food even though we've paid for a hot takeaway, then they hung up. We called called back and asked to speak with a manager and have been advised that they will call us back as they are busy and that's why they hung up the 1st time, I'm not holding my breath for the call back and we won't be ordering again from somewhere that used have a great all...

Just bought fish chips and sausage takeaway from this place. Tasted good , but they put the fish chips and sausage all in one box which meant they hardly put any chips in the box because it looked full . Felt short changed and insulted won't ever go there again ! I returned to ask them if it was a normal amount of chips or was it a mistake giving them the chance to rectify...they said it was a normal amount ( insult to injury ) When I pay for chips I want chips thank you, not a few tasters to look pretty at the side of the box. I'd say get your act together or lose more customers 👎...
