What a fabulous find, slightly off the beaten track but you be pushed to find a busier bakery with people queuing for bread and cakes. We arrived early and still the queue was to the door. We ordered coffee and cake, with a savoury cheese straw, which had to be a foot long! The atmosphere was great, large tables shared by couples and families, all happy to have their own end of the table. Quite a refreshing change from the 2 set cubicles you get elsewhere. You can see the bread being baked and know you're getting fresh fair! Service was quick and efficient. We will be back.

If you want a great croissant, stop here! The espresso is nice (a slightly bitter not too acidic dark roast) but the croissants are excellent. Among the best I've had, crispy on the outside, with a chewy not-dry center (rare as most places don't use enough butter) and just a touch of salt. Rounding off the end is the very faint taste of the yeast. I think this is the best I've had in England, but I'll leave that decision to repeat visits 👀😉

I came here for a morning coffee with my family. I had a coffee and pain au chocolat. I also tried an almond croissant. I thought that the selection of pastries and bread was fantastic and there was much to choose from- all were generously portioned. I wish I had been able to try all of them. There was a nice atmosphere within and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would return again to try more of what this bakery has to offer.

The bakery products are so so good, they really know what they are doing with the pastries, cakes, donuts and savouries. You could sink a ship with the wholemeal loaf though. Hot chocolate really is great, perhaps a pinch more chocolate in it. Coffee is good and breakfasts are lovely. However, (and feel free to call us 'needy') the staff look bored to complacent, led by owners who look like they never seem to care if you are there or not. We still doggedly enjoy the delicious products regularly but we would love to see a...

The staff were unimaginably rude and made us feel bad even unwanted there. We ordered hot drinks and each time the female member of staff gave us misinformation about which drink was for whom and we had to drink each other's orders continually. She just did not care. She was rude too. My friend cannot consume sugar but they had to because of the misinformation given about our drinks. The size of portions was too small as compared to the price. Do not live in...
