I stopped at Tatton Perk in Knutsford last week while visiting from the U.S. The cafe has such a warm, cozy, yet artful vibe that I really like. I ordered an oat milk flat white. Whereas many cafes that serve flat whites either make them quite bitter or into more of a latte, this one was really well-balanced. It was the perfect combination of strong and creamy. I also had their currant Eccles cake, which is vegan and contains notes of orange. It was so deliciousātasted like a winter holiday dessert.
Also, the owners were present during my visit. They, as well as the barista on staff, were all very friendly.

   Read moreStopped here today whilst having a nice family walk and I have to say that whilst the staff were pleasant I found the prices to be absolutely extortionate. Far more expensive than any other shop and the double whammy is that not only are they expensive, the size of the cups are small. £3.20 for a small cup of Hot Chocolate is ludicrous.

The Stockport cafe prices are for sit in. Your prices are for take away, so not a fair comparison. However, on reflection I think my one star was very unfair. I have changed this to 3 stars. I am not singling you out, I am just reviewing as I see fit. Apologies if it is not...

I order my coffee & a cheeky syrup to go ! A Latte ! I have a conversation with the owner & staff as you do about the history & I love entrepreneurs they have only just opened this hut ! The side orders as I call them are amazing cakes & stuff ! Coffee is smooth & strong at the same time not an easy combination but these guys have the right blend & machine & temperature to drink it ! Knowledge is the key they have done...
