Wow, what an amazing pub! My girlfriend and I randomly stumbled upon The Angel after a days shopping in Poole; we spotted lights off the high street and wandered in. Such a friendly welcome from the Manager Tanya as we walked in, who immediately made us feel at home. Super chatty and friendly, she took time to take us through the various rums and beers and showed genuine interest in us, as tourists in Poole. She checked in with us throughout the evening which made us feel as if we were locals! One thing you MUST do when coming here is order a pizza! My gosh, the pizza was possibly the best pizza I have EVER had, in Dorset, London and even abroad! Absolutely stunning pizza. A.J is an absolute master when it comes to making pizza! Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time I have been here and wish I had come here ages ago. Jo the landlady cirtainly knows how to run a pub, I have drank in many pubs in the Poole area but I have to say how well the the beer is kept. Perfect temperature, clean beer lines, and basically the best pint in town, Trust me, they also have a good selection of wines and spirits. Now the inside of the pub is spacious and comfortable, it's very clean and tidy in fact spotless. Out side they have a seating area in the front, but have a lovely beer garden out the back. The pub is also Dog friendly. I have posted some pictures so please take time to view. At the end of the day I would highly recommend The Angel...

I was polite and respectful, even asking if it was okay to speak with others before starting a conversation. Unfortunately, the landlady, Jay or J0, abruptly asked me to leave, claiming I was too drunk to be in the pubādespite the fact that I was completely sober. I felt unfairly judged and spoken to in a way that was unnecessary and dismissive. It was an uncomfortable experience, especially as someone just trying to settle in and be social in a new town. I hope future guests are treated with more understanding...
