The food on the whole is lovely but when ordering depending on which waiter you get there was a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff members however the staff did go out of their way to rectify the mistake and knocked the cost of the dish off the final bill and took responsibility for the confusion which happens occasionally. The king prawn starter was amazing the best I've ever had and my partner definitely had food envy. We forgot to order nan bread which was an annoying silly thing, if the waiter had suggested it we would have ordered it guys it's ok to upsell and do appreciate it

Quay Spice is our go to Indian take away in Poole. The food is simply amazing. The meat is soft and all the dishes are so flavoursome. Ordering is simple (online), just select the time you want your food to be delivered. Unfortunately this is also their weak point (their only one), 80% of the time, the food is on time. But 20% of the time, the food is late. It was 45 minutes late today. But because the food is so good, the wait is worth it. Highly recommended.

the prices is absolutely rubbish . Just for a 4 or 5 small pieces of chicken perri perri they charge me £10 while in other place you will get full chiken with better taste for £12. So i would never ever visit again and all other people are suggested to stay avoid from these expensive takeaway if you are looking for any Desi foods…see picture uploaded this is just a joke..

I must express my sincere admiration for Quay Spice Indian Resturant & Takeaway. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately struck by the elegant ambiance and warm hospitality of the staff.

Upon perusing the menu, I was delighted to discover an impressive array of traditional and contemporary Indian dishes, all crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. From the tender tandoori chicken to the aromatic biryani, each dish was a veritable symphony of flavors and textures, expertly balanced to tantalize the taste buds and satisfy even the most discerning of palates.

But what truly sets Quay Spice Indian Restaurant apart is the exceptional level of service and attention to detail demonstrated by the staff. From the moment I was seated, I was made to feel like a valued guest, with attentive and knowledgeable servers on hand to guide me through the menu and offer recommendations.

In short, I cannot recommend Quay Spice Indian Restaurant & Takeaway highly enough. Whether you are a seasoned connoisseur of Indian cuisine or simply looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, this establishment is sure to exceed your expectations. Five stars, without reservation...

Before I write this ..I wish I could give 0 stars!

We ordered food but it turned out to be one of the worst food we ever had & ordered. Ordered Butter chicken x2 , tandoori chicken x2 (just received 1) and 4 soggy naan.

Sounds and looks tasty right? Well you’re wrong! This food is what you expect from a local corner shop which you can pre-heat and the price was outrageous for all this tasteless food worth £44. Your butter chicken tasted so sugary that I got mistaken for dessert..You put chicken tikka in Butter chicken..tandoori didn’t even taste like tandoori..

The colour you guys put on tandoori was so bad that I still have it on my hand at the moment. God knows if your chef was cooking with blindfold or was taking tips from YouTube while making the food.

All this for £44??! Never again! Keep that money and hire a new chef who can...

We ate here after a recommendation from the bar man where we were staying. We walked in between 2 Christmas Parties so were aware that there could be a bit of a wait, but as they had managed to squeeze us in when already fully booked we were happy to. It was well worth the wait! Despite being full in the restaurant and I'm guessing with take aways the food was amazing. I had the Niligri Chicken Korma, the sauce was delicious and obviously freshly made. My husband had the Quay spice special, which along with tender chicken and lamb were also a couple of the biggest king prawns we had seen in a long while. I cannot fault anything about the evening except for some of the other guests who were less than gracious just because a couple of their drinks...
