Shockingly bad. Booked for 6 people 2weeks in advance for bank hol sun, and looking forward to a Sunday roast dinner .. served drinks ( 2 bottles of wine, one was chilled the other warm but hey Ho ) and then was told they had run out of beef so could only order pork or chicken. So we ordered 1x steak, 1 pork and 4 chicken .. 20 mins later the steak arrived, 10 mins later the pork dinner arrived .. waited another 10 minutes and one chicken dinner arrived with the waitress saying there’s one and 3 more will follow . As 3 of the group proceeded to eat 3 of us sat in anticipation then as the clock ticked by we saw chicken and pork dinners being served up to diners who arrived a lot later than ourselves and takeaway dinners leaving the cafe … . then 5 minutes later and 3 of our group nearly finishing their meals we were informed there had been a mix up and the kitchen had read the 4 chicken dinners as just the 1 … then to be told there was no chicken left either .. so ok us 3 will have the pork . at least we getting a dinner right ? .. when asked how long this was going to take as the other 3 in the party had finished eating theirs we were told 5/6 mins as just needs plating up .. well another 10 minutes or so went by and no sign of any food so 2 of us decided enough is enough, we’d been there 1hr and 15mins, we got up and informed them we’d try our luck at the local chippy as not waiting any longer .. myself and one other walked out, and apparently after we left the owner was rude to the remaining group reducing one to tears who had actually made the booking .. all in all it was like being in an episode of Fawlty Towers and if your thinking of dining here my advice is take a packed lunch just in case .. terrible service, loved our first visit to Hornsea and definitely recommend the local chippy...

Accessibility incl Car Parking and Loo:
Step to outdoor seating area and door, they have a portable ramp, either phone ahead to arrange, or someone would need to go into ask for the ramp yo be set up. I suggest a wireless doorbell near the 1st step? Wider area to the right in the main part of the restaurant for wheelchairs.
The toilet is not 'disabled' or an 'accessibility' loo and the passage narrows at one bit, due to the original design of the restaurant.
Limited on street parking immediately outside for the row of shops, but Council Pay and Display parking behind shops on the otherside of the road. Free 3 hour parking on Cinema Street further up. On street parking on Newbegin unrestricted after 6 and Sundays.
Food: The two iof us, one veggie and one carnivore enjoyed the selection. Vegetarian, one option had parmasan, but I passed that on. There is a 'Specials Board' as well as the main menu.
Service: Very...
Read moreFood was lovely it was just let down with cleanliness/ hygiene issues. We had the table in the corner by the books and I was sat facing where a couple of machines and bottles were. The surface was very dusty, not a couple of days worth I would say at least a week. It looked like the cleaner just wiped the areas around the plant and the bottles, there were also lots of bits under one of the machines that looked like they had been there months. There was a young waitress who was lovely but when we went to pay she coughed into her hand and then didn’t wash her hands before making a drink. This has put me off going back although the food was very nice. I think they need to look at their hygiene policies and...
