The Bear Inn — Restaurant in England

We have decided due to the attitude of some of the locals to never come here again. There was a group of 6 of us, we arrived at 4.15 pm to watch the euro 24 final, and had a seat at one of the tables out back in the beer garden.

After 60i mins of the game one of our party left due to the youngsters throwing their glasses around. A few minutes later 2 other members decided to leave too and wait for us in another pub.

At full time,2 young girls, jumped up on our table nearly knocking our beers over, so my mate asked them to get down, that's when a group of lads started mouthing off at my mate, causing my mate and my other mate to start arguing with them. I didn't react at all, I just grabbed my bag, and my coat and tried to get my mates to leave. As I felt these lads were there just to cause trouble, shortly after my 2 mare's got asked to leave. The the lads who were looking to cause trouble was allowed to stay.

We will never be willing to return to the pub. We have watched the women's euro 2021 final here, a couple of other games, and last 16 England game 2 ish weeks ago.

Just about the worst night ever. Unclean room (the bin had not been emptied) and ensuite walls were filthy, significant amount of hair on sink and ensuite. Told on arrival that card machine didn't work so should pay balance in cash. Told breakfast was 9:00 to 10:00, no offer of partial refund or a grab-bag of some pastries and fruit as I had to leave earlier (who on a weekday morning is happy to wait until 9:00 for breakfast if they are working?)

Live music playing downstairs excessively loud that was proceeded by a lot of heavy metal at similar volume (I couldn't hear my iPad on full volume - to give an idea of how loud the music was). The din really did comprise my sleep as did the uncomfortable bed. I could go on, but I shouldn't as I feel the staff/owners were friendly and trying quite hard. Regretted may choice and...

I am banned from this pub because I am banned from wetherspoons for something that happened 5 years ago. Faye the manager, not owner, banned me from there purely because she is friends with the so called supervisor Shannon from spoons. It really doesn't bother me and have no interest in going in these pubs again. Just everyone take care going in this pub. You have only just to say something immaterial and that's it.
