The Deep End — Restaurant in England

Visited here for my birthday weekly Covid-19 test. There is plenty of parking, but beware those evil Speed bumps! The whole experience was incredibly well organised. You arrive at your pre determined (by you) appointment, show your email, or text invitation to the test, show Photo id, while wearing a mask and a very friendly volunteer will guide to inside. There is plenty of hand sanitiser to use. You collect a barcode and qr code card, scan the cards qr and sign into the web address, once in, the volunteer will assist you to fill in the details which takes a few minutes if your like me and forgot your glasses. Once you've signed in you are placed in a 4 person 2 meter spaced queue and you are called up to pick a swab, are taken to a freshly sanitised booth and given a clear concise instructions on how to take the test. There is also a picture guide and mirror on the wall. Once you have completed your test, you pass your swab to another PPE'd volunteer. Service for food is relatively fast, but the quality of the food fluctuates so much, ranging from good to very bad (usually the latter). The price is relatively high for the quality and quantity of food given in return. And the menu is badly laid out, it's like navigating a maze walking backwards whilst being told to go the wrong way (Even the staff struggle with it). The younger staff members are typically fine and know not to take some conversations too seriously, but some can be incredibly condescending and rude, especially the older staff (the ones usually responsible for the bad food being made in the kitchen). The music is acceptable to me (although too mainstream), but they usually play the same songs over again throughout each day. I've heard a whole playlist of songs played about 5 times in one day. A few other negative things to add, the automatic doors leading to the WCs open way too slow often causing me to have to wait and the hand drier doesn't do its job properly. Went to a event here. Bar staff were all over the place and it's ridiculous prices for drinks! Dont know what they think they are but it was worse than London prices! Charging same amount for non alcoholics as normal alcohol. Only had 1 option for non alcoholics! And nearly £11 for double bacadi and lemonade. £2.15 for a splash of lemonade! Joke.
