The Fighting Cocks — Restaurant in England

Was in for no longer than 10 minutes… got profiled by the bar staff and door staff on the way in because I have designer clothing on… Went to the toilet had a lad in there trying to start fights so walked him out the toilet… went to the bar to find the the staff tried charging my friend twice for his drinks and he wasn’t happy… sent him back to the table as I said I’d sort it out for him… to then be removed by the door staff…

Never caused any carry on! Yet had 2 sips of my pint before being removed then I asked if I could get my money back for the pint to be told no! (Basically robbed us) They then removed our group of 5 couples for no valid reason other than the bar staff not liking the way someone spoke to her about the mistake she made…

Absolute joke of a pub and tbh missed out on a good wedge of money that was in my pocket 🤦🏻 I’ll never spend another penny in there again Weatherspoons was a miles better...

Called in today with two other staff members and two gentlemen we support with learning disabilities. I ordered a roast beef lunch which was very bland to say the least, cheap sliced cooked beef from a packet and tasteless veg and gravy with a frozen Yorkshire pudding. My friend ordered the lasagne and chips which were all hard a crispy (re-heated) the other person ordered a steak medium rare which was raw. We complained to a very unkempt lady I'm guessing she was the cook who really wasn't interested in our views she did say she would speak to the manager who did not show his face to resolve out issues, no sorry is there anything we can do..... all in all a total waste of money for us and spoilt our trip to Durham we...

Absolutely appauling behaviour from the supervisor shouted at me and made my two year old cry, don't order the steak, it was a nasty grey colour I ordered rare to medium and it was GREY right the way through, she shouted at me refused to give me another.full meal but offered a baguette I told her to keep it and give me a refund she refused and argued with us, eventually got the cost of my meal back but her customer service skills are appauling, then when I write a review the staff or friends of the bar are commenting on it saying I'm a liar, the supervisors behaviour was absolutely disgusting, wouldn't go here for...
