The Libertine — Restaurant in England

We popped in here for a coffee, a nice stop off for our day in Shrewsbury. Never been before but a lovely town.... except for this establishment!!

Now I never complain normally and I said this to the bar tender, but I do like a hot cup of coffee. I politely asked for another one as mine came out luke warm... he grunted in response.

As you can see I was sitting outside the bar and the new coffee came, a smaller cup but not a problem... until my friend noticed the ‘I’m a T**T’ on the bottom of the plain white mug. We were absolutely gobsmacked. Never ever would I expect treatment like this. Every time I drank this would have been seen by passers by.

The tender tried to defend his behaviour but there is no way that a cup of this nature should have even been in the establishment. Not happy at all.

Very disappointed. The website says they had happy hour which drew us in. However they said they that promotion ended years ago but they couldn't access the website to change it!! Not sure about that excuse. Then when we came to order 4 cocktail (at full price) they did have the ingredients for 3 of them so we had to find alternatives. Absolutely shocking very poor quality, Pina colodia requested without ice got a drink in a babycham glass really bad value for money. Wifey asked for a Bailey's Alexander although I am not a mixologist I do know how to make one and what wifey had was like curled milk with nutmeg on top nutmeg nutmeg should have been grated chocolate and no creme de cacao to be found in drink although told it was in there!!!!! £17 for two drinks, nail in the coffin we won't be...
