The most delicious vegan cream tea, run by the nicest ladies and such a wonderful little treat of a cafe!
We popped in earlier in the day to ask about their vegan cream tea and what time they close, they were super kind and recommended popping back a couple of hours later. When we did, the owners recognised us and welcomed us in, the cafe was empty at this point but quickly filled up again. This place is run by vegans so there are tonnes of great vegan/veggie options, and the traditional vegan cream tea is utterly delicious!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience here and can't wait to visit again the next time we're in...
Read moreWhile on holiday went in for a meal and I was really surprised 😮. I always enjoy scampi with chips and garden peas and this was what I chose from the menu and when it was brought to my table it not only looked fresh, amazing and good but it tasted fabulous, in fact I would go as far as saying the best I have ever had. Another good thing about this cafe is that if you have your dog with you they can come in and sit under your table and are also made to feel welcome. So if you are visiting Mevagissey I would strongly recommend a visit to The Lighthouse Cafe you will be made...
Read moreLiving locally, I have been meaning to have breakfast here for a while. The Lighthouse always appears to be busy and that is because the quality of the freshly cooked breakfast is simply outstanding and the service both very friendly and obliging. I went for the large full Cornish and added some hogs pudding with a flat white coffee. I was not disappointed... thick cut back bacon, delicious meaty sausages, fresh tomato along with beans, mushrooms and crisp hash brown potato. If I were being picky I would say that the hogs pudding slices were on the small side and I think that fried bread instead of toast would have made the plate perfect. I can only highly recommend the Lighthouse Cafe and very much look forward to...
