Stopped here for lunch last week having seen good reviews. Between the three of us we ordered 3 different dishes. My husband had the mackerel bap, which he reported to be delicious, my son had mackerel and chips, which he loved. I went for the trio of fish which included two different fish(mackerel and something else - both delicious) and two scallops - so so tasty. I opted for the bread and salad instead of chips. Totally scrumptious! Top restaurant quality.

It is was all cooked fresh to order, couldn't be fresher. It's not battered (although I think they do offer this) it is grilled and it is perfect! The salad was a lovely mixed leaf with halved cherry tomatoes and a delicious dressing with tasty bread.

Customer service, fantastic.

If we ever find ourselves in Mevagissey again, we will definitely be...

This evening my family had fish and chips (Haddock). £9 each and the service was good - you order and then have a ticket which you wait to be called. All meals were cooked to order. I am surprised at such positive reviews as the food was not great. The fish was the best part - it was tasty enough but nothing special. The chips, however, were awful - they were your typical frozen chips deep fried. Hard and little flavour - my daughter said “we have these chips at school” which I think tells you what to expect with the chips. I was expecting traditional “fish and chip shop” chips which would have left me feeling satisfied. Unfortunately the chips really let the meal down. I wouldn’t buy...

The best fish & chips you will ever want. As me & my partner couldn’t decide we went for beer battered haddock & chips (£10) and the Trio of fish (mackerel & one other fillet + two scallops) chips, salad & lemon served on the side. To say this was cooked to perfection is an understatement! My god! If your any kinda foodie this place is for you - v v fresh fish that sticky fresh taste, chips skin on crispy fluffy inside & hot, lovely crunchy fresh salad leaves with a wedge of lemon! Just sublime! The batter on the haddock was absolutely to die for - we both ate all the batter, it’s like a light coating with such a light crunch! It’s so moorish! Thank you sooo much! 5 stars...

We had seen reviews and wanted to try this place when we visited Mevagissey this year. The trio of fish was a good size portion (2 scallops, and 2 fillets of fish; £15) and could be had with chips or bread and salad. The kids fish and chips (£6) was also brilliant value - 2 battered fillets of whiting and chips! 20p per pot of ketchup felt a little pricey when spending £40 on food - I think sauces should be included. We were initially overcharged by £8, but this was addressed quickly when we realised the error and returned later on to question it. Would recommend.

Stopped off here for a quick Sunday lunch and loved it. We'd been attracted by the menu as there were great sounding grilled options as well as the standard battered fish and chips. We had the Trio, which was two large scallops and grilled fillets from two other fish in generous amounts and, not fancying adulting, got the chips instead of bread and salad, although it was nice to have the option if we'd felt like behaving. It was all great, perfectly cooked, fast and friendly service and definitely a step above a chippy offering, would heartily recommend.
