It's location is absolutely sublime, surrounded by a combination of buildings both new and old that have this building nestled within it. The drinks are fairly limited in variety but it's to be expected by a lovely local that's on a road side. Having said that I did have a beautiful Thatchers pint, a line within thatchers I've never had before which really hit the spot. It has a lovely and eclectic handful of locals and a pool table to match. And not to mention its massive beer garden....

Pub was busy. Lots of happy people just enjoying the place. Log burner, dogs, pool, Guinness, snacks, great staff. Felt like a large, communal front room. People there for a birthday party all in fancy dress and singing. It was good.
4 stars only because the entrance is freezing cold and teeming with mould. That said, a lemon-scented marble entrance hall wouldn't fit at all.
