The Pantry at Fort Amherst has become a firm favourite for our family! We've visited several times now, and each experience has been consistently positive. The cafe itself is clean and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere that feels perfect for a casual lunch or coffee break.

One of the things that impresses me most is the staff. They're always friendly and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable and included. He absolutely loved their attentiveness, which made our whole visit even more enjoyable.

While the menu focuses on sandwiches and snacks, the quality is excellent. Everything we've tried has been fresh and tasty, and the portions are acceptable for the prices. They also have delicious cakes and coffees, making it a great spot for a sweet treat.

The location is another bonus. The beautiful surroundings of Fort Amherst are perfect for a walk before or after your visit, and the ample car park assures you won't struggle to find a spot (just remember to register your car!).

Finally, who can resist a friendly four-legged companion? It's not uncommon to encounter a sweet dog wandering the cafe seeking affection and maybe a sneaky snack. Their presence adds to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
