A place where I used to go years ago. Nice little pub behind what was The George and Dragon (where I worked) . Well worth a visit if in Marlow. Love this little town.., so many memories. One of the oldest pubs in Marlow, The Two Brewers has been serving pints near the River Thames since 1727. It’s most famous as the site where Jerome K. Jerome wrote part of his classic novel – Three Men in a Boat. Jerome thought Marlow to be ‘one of the pleasantest river centres I know of. It is a bustling lively little town … there are many quaint nooks and corners to be found in it’. Two Brewers Marlow is the perfect pub in Marlow for great traditional pub food and perfectly served drinks. We look forward to seeing you at the best pub in Marlow!

We booked for Easter Sunday late Lunch as we were staying in Marlow. We also had a little Dog and we saw this pub was dog friendly! The staff were really welcoming and accommodating. We great Sunday Roast, I had the Trio and my wife had the Turkey, we were also offered an extra Yorkshire Pudding, which being from Yorkshire this was a winner, extra gravy is also a real bonus and I have been to places were they don’t or won’t give you extra. The beer was from the local Rebellion brewery and was also very nice. I did not get everyone’s name, but Amelia and all her colleagues really looked after us and made it a really pleasant Sunday lunch, they even gave our Dog Daisy some treats which is always appreciated.!

Went there today for Father’s Day really nice oldie type interior pub plenty of seating outside to. The food was very very nice I had cauliflower wings with salsa sauce to start with, my son and daughter had calamari sticks with garlic mayo sauce. For maincourse me and my son both had butternut squash tarte roast, my other son and daughter had the chicken roast, for pudding we had brownie orange and ice cream which was both vegetarian and vegan. Service was great parking a little bit of a problem as there is no parking close by, toilets very clean but small. The whole meal in total along with drinks came to £122, drinks were diet Coke pint of beer tap water and Appletizer along with two latte coffee’s

AUTISM DISCRIMINATION THRU MISMANAGEMENT AND THE ABSENCE OF APPROPRIATE TRAINING

On 12 November staff held me in the pub because I refused to accept that I owed them £16 of wine that I did not order or consume. After 15 minutes they admitted they were in the wrong but this led to me receiving a parking ticket.

They admitted liability for this but failed to follow instructions from BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL to provide written confirmation of their liability on company headed letter. THE TWO BREWERS PUB confirmed that this document would be available for me to pick up on 15 November. However, they produced a piece of paper with signed paragraph admitting liability. Instead of resolving this situation Bogdan — the pub landlord — came rushing out of the kitchen towards me, slammed money on the table then ordered me out of the pub telling me I was banned and his colleagues verbally intimidating me as I left the building. This was in spite of me telling them I was autistic.

It is concerning that THE STONEGATE GROUP found no wrongdoing in the absence of contacting me and MARLOW TOWN COUNCIL refusing to investigate and showing no concern that this sort of discrimination exists in their community.

THE TWO BREWERS PUB has responded to my review in the way I expected as the abuse has now continued online. Therefore this location should be avoided so not to fall victim to their dangerously low level of hospitality management; and how they fail to rectify their failings. The pub has admitted liability but became abusive when they failed to follow instructions from BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL; THE STONEGATE GROUP failed to deal with the behaviour of staff in THE TWO BREWERS PUB, deciding to protect the staff and their reputations by ignoring my complaint.

Contravening laws designed to protect vulnerable people in the community is an extremely serious matter. This “minor” event has not only exposed (autism) discrimination in MARLOW TOWN, but worryingly MARLOW TOWN COUNCIL and BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL have decided to ignore the fact this situation has happened in the first place.

According to the EQUALITY ACT 2010 the areas of discrimination in this case are covered by the following definitions:

harassment - unwanted behaviour linked to a protected characteristic that violates someone’s dignity or created an offensive environment for them

victimisation - treating someone unfairly because they’ve complained about discrimination or harassment

Due to the serious nature of the events and the potential for THE TWO BREWERS PUB to cause more significant harm to others in the community, they need to inform THE STONEGATE GROUP that legal action will be taken against the proprietors of the pub if no appropriate response from THE STONEGATE GROUP is received after 21 days —- this is the legal requirement in such...

** A second visit in January 2027 to celebrate my partner's birthday! We can't keep away from the Two Brewers!! (I can only leave one review per place). Thank you for yet another fabulous lunch at the Two Brewers. Delicious roasts with bottomless potatoes and yorkshires! The food and atmosphere is lovely and a stone's throw from the river! Yet again, brilliant customer service, this time from the fabulous manager Bertie who was so warm and welcoming, wonderfully supported by Corey and Marcella with their exceptional customer service skills - and very accomplished kitchen staff. Can't wait to return!! :-) A wonderful Anniversary dinner at the Two Brewers - 27 November!! I can't speak more highly of the fabulous experience we had at the Two Brewers to celebrate our anniversary!! From the moment we booked our table we felt so well looked after by the lovely Aidan who took an interest in the reason for our booking and gave us 5 star treatment. The Manage Jessica also ensured that we had a brilliant time and we were so well looked after by Leah, Corey and Marcella who made us feel like royalty. Compliments to the catering team, including chef Aaron for the delicious and mouth watering Sunday roasts. Lovely atmosphere in a historic pub with great ambiance and fabulous staff!! We can't wait to book our next meal at the Two Brewers and would highly recommend it to anyone else wanting a lovely tasty Sunday lunch with a fabulous and welcoming...

Disappointed with the service and quality this afternoon. I specifically chose this pub with friends because of the great outdoor area and previous positive experiences. Unfortunately, we were met with rudeness from a female staff member when we raised a simple concern.

We ordered three Aperol Spritz, a drink we're very familiar with, but what we were served tasted overly diluted—more like soda water than Aperol. The drinks were pale, lacking the usual bright orange colour and the distinct flavour of a proper Aperol Spritz.

We politely asked if a little more Aperol could be added to balance the drink, but were told we would be charged for that, and were even told it was “illegal” to adjust the drink as it was made “to spec.” If that’s truly your specification, it may be worth reviewing—it’s certainly not in line with what’s typically expected for this cocktail.

The interaction was handled poorly, with a dismissive attitude that turned what could have been a small fix into a frustrating experience. It’s a shame, as we’ve enjoyed this place before, but I won’t be returning after this. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of understanding and good...
