well i sat down with my girlfriend and 2 babies for 5 mins to give them some juice when i was confronted with a very obnoxoius "lady" shouting at us telling us we have to get of her chairs because we havent bought anything.....from which my girlfriend replied we are about to buy some ice cream and then she stated "no you are not! get out!" and refused to sell us anything and shouted at us infront of a harbour full of ppl calling us scum bags.......all because she didnt like us sitting down giving the babies a drink of juice on a warm day...........and on the way back we walked past the same shop and the manager was sat outside with her boyfriend smoking and hished scumbags at us again.......i wouldnt recommend any familys with children use this shop and i advise u to boycott it, very very unpleasent woman who obvioulsy looks down at the public as...
Read moreAVOID!!! Got a jacket potato. Started eating it and had to fish out a lot of black bits - maybe 1/5. Got to the middle and it was still raw. Went to staff and was told it would be replaced if I'd said so to begin with..... I tried to pick out the black and didn't know it was raw (which was the main issue) until I got to the middle so how could I??? £1 more expensive than further down the harbour, poor quality and rude staff. This has put me off jacket potatoes and would never go here again. DEFINITELY GO ELSEWHERE. Read moreWent to this cafe this weekend. Me and my husband both purchased a hot drink, but my young son was already eating an ice-cream which he bought a few minutes earlier. After Purchasing our drinks, we were told my son had to sit elsewhere as he hadn't bought it from here. If they sold ice-creams, I wouldn't have sat there, but they didn't, so I wouldn't have thought this was a problem.
