Visited the outlet at Peterborough railway station on the afternoon of 26.05.23. Purchased a large steak Pasty from a very nice lady. Seeing "Handmade in Cornwall" on the sides of building, I was looking forward to being reacquainted with the tasty goodness of the many pasties I had on frequent visits to that part of the UK. I forgave the rather hefty £6.59 cost in eager expectation. Sadly, I was very disappointed. Once it had cooled down to slightly below the core temperature of the Sun, found the meat content was so low, I did wonder if I had mistakenly been served a vegetarian alternative. The high amount of swede within, seemed to take as long to cool down as molten lava. Poor value for money, and even worse than what is laughingly sold as a Cornish Pasty in supermarkets at a much lower price. My one star rating is purely down to the lady who served me, who was lovely, otherwise it would be 0. Fine if boiling hot swede in pastry is your thing,...
