Sorry to have to give such a low review. As me and my husband and our dog went for an early lunch Saturday 25th Feb. We ordered drinks and food we got the drinks drank them and my husband half hour later had to get another coffee as our food had not arrived 45mins later I ask how long our food would be, waiter said he would go and check, on his return he told us it was being plated up, ok we said not very happy as two couple that had come in after us were then brought their meal. We waited but after 1hr I was getting rather fed up and lost my apitite. We decided to leave and just pay for the coffees we'd had. So coats on looking for a member of staff to pay, a member of staff appeared with our food. A chicken sandwich and a chicken wrap. (Just glad it was not a large meal, I could of cook a chicken in the time it took present us with our order) we took our coats off and sat back down ,the waiter apologized ,said it was because of a change over in the kitchen, No they had forgotten us and did not come or ask if we were ok. The kitchen mix up did not stop the other who came after us getting their food. Very disappointed and did not enjoy the meal, as it seem to have just been thrown together, dry bread and chicken on my husbands Sandwich mine was ok but as I said before lost my apitite after waiting a hour. Coffee is lovely but I do not think we will be going there...
Read moreWe went to Winstons on 31st July as a party of 15 for a special occasion. For an almost empty establishment the service was abysmal. To begin with we didn't have enough seats for the party and 3 of us were expected to sit at a table that left us isolated from the rest until we moved the table and decorated it ourselves. We had no drinks service at the table, waited around 90 minutes for the food to come out and when it did it was well below expected standard and staff did nothing to rectify the errors. One of the steaks came out majorly overcooked but they dumped it in front of a girl anyway and stomped away. To compensate for the overcooked steak they brought out a boat of sauce which they gave to her, explaining it was by means of apology. After she had poured an amount over her meal they came and took back the sauce and gave it to the woman in the party who it had really belonged to! Mashed potatoes were hard and had huge lumps in, kids were supposed to be served their meals as we had starters but they never arrived until 30 mins later and staff were miserable and disinterested. If they can not cope with large parties they shouldn't take the bookings! They ruined my daughters 16th birthday meal and I would recommend that if you are going as a party you should...

I had chicken goujons and skin on fries (does come with beans but I didn’t want beans. I wanted to pick) 2 hours of unlimited Prosecco, front line cocktails, house gin (lots of flavours)or beer (not sure which coz I hate lager/beer) The service was awesome 💖💐 had the best two hours! Food was freshly cooked, very hot and tasty! Worth £35!!! Highly recommend
Went today (sun 4th Feb) Bookef and ordered off the £10 meal offer. Had garlic mushrooms which were very hot and tasted lovely. Could just do with a tiny piece of baguette to dip in the sauce tho. Chose lamb Sunday dinner and it was delicious and very hot. Just the right size to leave me full but not uncomfortable. One roast potato, cabbage, carrot and swede mash, mash potato, Yorkshire pudding and fall apart slices of lamb. Beautiful! We also went in the evening on 31st Jan. had £10 offer with soup as a starter and lasagne. Again, served very hot! 😃 tomato and chorizo soup was packed with veg. Lasagne was amazing. Ordered skin on fries on the side. Had a...
