Just driving home from our two night stay here. What can I say? Enjoyed everything about this accommodation! Stayed with my wife and 4 year old for two nights bed and breakfast. Before I write anything else, if you decide to book, do it directly from the hotel website. You get full cooked breakfast included in the direct website rate and it's absolutely worth it. Anyway, back to my review. Blackpool was always a staple childhood holiday for me, so given the current necessity to staycation, I decided to bring my own wee boy to experience Blackpool for himself. Upon arrival at the hotel, we instantly noticed how clean and tidy it was, and took possession of our room key from one of the owners Richard who was thorough with the the current covid guidelines within the hotel and how to go about having a safe stay. This hotel is clearly taking the covid guidelines seriously which is very reassuring. I booked through Booking.com and as such, was informed that my rate included only a continental breakfast. I paid an extra £2.50 per adult per day to upgrade to a full English and it was worth every penny (see later in review) although this is why I say to book with the hotel directly. Anyway, we went to our room and it was lovely and clean. Had all the amenities you would need including kettle tea and coffee, hairdryer, towels and wifi. The toilet was spotless and the beds were kitted with lovely soft pillows. Very nice. Room was small but absolutely adequate for our family of three. Later at night, after a busy day in Blackpool, we had a little drink at the bar. The alcohol price was very reasonable and it was a nice relaxing lounge to enjoy a little night cap. There was also a pool table there to enjoy. The following morning we had breakfast which was served by the other owner Paul. Paul was friendly and efficient and good with our little one. Good selection of brand cereals, fruits, yoghurt and juice on offer. We had our cooked breakfast which was absolutely lovely. Everything on the plate you would expect from a full English, but cooked perfectly and tasty. We had coffee to wash it down and were full for our day ahead at the pleasure beach. We had a great stay and would happily return. Location is great. It's super clean. The hosts are nice, especially Paul who is very attentive. Everything that is important when choosing a place to stay is afforded here....

Read moreOur booking was made through Expedia based on 4 shameless false promises, which I believe, were made in collaboration with the hotel management.
1- Beech view from room: hotel is located far away from beech and behind a big building. So beech view is impossible. I have an email from Expedia confirming the room has a beech view. 2- Free parking: Hotel does not have a proper parking of its own. There are just 7 spaces in front of hotel. When asked, reply was to park somewhere on the street. 3- Free wifi: Wifi is free if you can catch it. 4- Smoking room: We were told that smoking is forbidden as pork and alcohol is forbidden in Islam. This was conveyed in extremely rude manner in from of our eight years old son.
We recommend you to stay away especially if your skin is not white. We have spoken with Expedia and they have agreed to refund our money as everything...
