Exeters' central shopping area. Ample parking (at the moment - councils are considering closing sections of many car parks to cut down congestion and pollution in the future). As you walk about you notice an upsurge in student accommodation in all parts of the city; not just on the outskirts. The main shopping area is a long straight road with smaller peripheral areas to either end. A bus station at one end (which again may be subject to refurbishment in the future) provides public transport to all areas in and around the city and to outlying areas. Princesshay itself has an excellent range of shops and stores to appeal to a broad range of needs and desires for food clothing and of course bright shiny things!! Part of Princesshay has some of the original roman wall within it so it will appeal to history buffs and the city museum is only a stones throw away! From my understanding it is the Duchy and an American firm that own princesshay. 4yrs plus of a virtually empty street is much too long. The rents need to reflect the changing times (internet shopping and cost of living crisis) and need to do more to encourage people to visit and for businesses to be able to...

It was a nightmare to navigate to the car-park and when we got there, we found a very limited number of disabled parking spaces, all of which were taken, so we "squeezed" our way up to the third floor - it is very very tight in there... we found the exit and made our escape and parked just outside in a disabled space just made available.
So if you enjoy an adventure go try your luck at parking here. Oh the shops are your run of the mill high street designer ones.. £119 for a coat in Superdry or £3,000 for a...
