We popped in here to grab a bite before a film at Picture House. The place has real soul and individuality, and the guy who runs it selects all of the wines on sale. Our family had a selection of dishes all of which were simple and of the highest quality, the wine which the chap chose for us was very nice too. Quite expensive, but worth it. Charcuterie was some of the best I have had.

Finally got round to having a cheese plate for lunch, loved all three and the range of flavours was varied and complementary. The bread was freshly cut from a new loaf and toasted perfectly crispy. The rarebit came with a gorgeous chutney that I will be attempting to replicate at home! Always love to come in for cheese and charcuterie to take home too (the bresaola is excellent).

Lovely shop, very knowledgeable staff and great choice of interesting ciders and cheeses! It's rare to find a shop with such a diverse local, national and international cider range, and to have someone able to explain what each cider is like, how it's made etc. Was an added bonus! Can highly recommend if you're looking for something special during the festive period.

Wandered in as curious about the wines and soon found a whole new world of wine philosophy and natural wines. I would say the products wine, coffee and cheese are lovingly curated by Alex. His enthusiasm for the products lead us to purchase half a dozen to try. The coffeebis single origin Rwandan and very good it is which we tried whilst looking and learning about the wines. He gave us some cheese from Bermondsey and beautiful lovely to eat. We mentikned we were going to Circa and it be nice if they had some of these wines, he said they did. Well we tried a natural sparkling red wine with our 5 course meal. It was a good introduction. Highly recommended place to...

Pullo is one of those almost hidden gems. You could walk past it and miss it, it’s so small, but you’d be missing out. Inside, you feel like you’re in a bar off a street in Paris. Alex is so knowledgeable and passionate about all of his natural wines stacked up along the walls and, if you want to know, will tell you the stories behind the people who make them. I imagine it could very easily feel like a pretentious place in the wrong hands but because at its roots it’s all about the wine and the cheese, it’s fab....

Totally brilliant wines. The viticulture from which all these wines are made is extremely high - unlike mass market wines made from grapes with unknown sources and/or quality, where the vines are controlled probably by chemical intervention. If the source of the grapes is as good as you can get, the winery does add “extras” and no yeast is allowed except that is on the grapes entering the vats of barrels. You can see why Alex buys with specific knowledge of the wine provenance :...
