This is my €17 pork intestine noodle soup.
Intestines are one of the cheapest ingredient in Asia, I get it that it is expensive here but the portion are way too small. I end up going to another restaurant to fill my stomach after paying €17 pound for a dish
The Intestines are way too soft, pork intestines are supposed to be chewy when boiled or crispy when fried, but this one just have no texture. So i think the intestines are not fresh but instead frozen for a very long time.
The dish is overall very salty, my friend order biangbiang soup and it is very salty as well. I have had many good biangbiang before in both UK and China and none of them were this salty.
The waiting time is awful, expect to wait 30mins+ for a dish.
There is a 30% discount but the terms are in Chinese so I don’t understand.

Read moreYum! Incredibly tasty, authentic chinese food. The restaurant is rather hidden in plain site in a busy part of Sidwell Street, so it's easy to miss. A shame as having finally made it here I was really impressed. Delicious food freshly cooked from a particular region of China. I had a slow cooked pork bap as a filling starter, then the speciality beef and noodles. Noodles are made fresh daily - they are pretty substantial and go will with the broth. The beef is an amazing mix of spices (but not hot spicy) and as tender as you can get it. The owner and chef is delightfully friendly and helpful, originally from the region of the cuisine so it's authentic. Genuine depth of flavour - looking forward to trying other dishes. Pricing seems fair given what everyone has to charge these days and much better value in terms of quality than most. Restaurant is small,...
Read morePros: The lady serving us was extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome
Cons: Very overpriced! 4+ pounds for a single rogamo that is tiny and is essentially pulled pork with a small toasted pita (I thought we'd get several as per the picture they have outside). We got an additional rogamo with salad, which was an extra 2+ pounds and was a few lettuce leaves... The noodle dish had two small bits of beef (very tasty, however) and the rest was ok..for 14 pounds!!
Our total was 26 pounds, where elsewhere in Exeter you can get FAR more bang for your buck for a much tastier and substantial meal. I hope they look at their pricing and portion sizes, as I'd really like to see...
