Bought 2 boxes of 4 doughnuts for 2 consecutive days. On the second day, I was charged almost £2 over. The diff between those orders was 1st day got 6filled and 2 doughnuts, on the 2nd day got 7filled and 1 ring doughnuts. I told them about what I bought and how much I paid a day before. The lady came to help the trainee staff and said something to him and I managed to pay the same as I paid a day before but, what the trainee staff dis was changed the contents of one of the boxes. Before I left, I asked him what's inside and he said 2 filled and 2 rings just like what I exactly I ordered a day before. I did not bother to open the box until I arrived home and found out that 1 box only contained 2 rings and 1 filled which in contrary to what the staff said 2 filled and 2 rings. I felt like being fooled, cheated and deceived. What a big shame because I am regular of this store. I hope they hire staffs that are efficient and who know what they do and be honest to the customers. It is like deceiving and stealing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited the Kings Walk shop this afternoon (01.07.20). Firstly I appreciate the difficult, unprecedented situation everyone has to work in right now with their jobs due to this pandemic, I myself have to work in similar conditions in my job. After standing in the social distancing queue for 5-10 mins, I entered the shop & ordered a couple of pastries & a coffee. I then got met with a load of flannel from the assistant about being on her own (although there were clearly two people in the background behind her), the queue being massive (If I said there were 5 couples of people distantly spread in a queue outside & just me in the shop, I am being generous! It was far from massive), before the pandemic, this place would be far, far busier at the same time & a bigger, denser queue & finally she said you would have to order a coffee! So I got a load of flannel because I ordered a coffee! Wow! This is literally part of their job, a service they provide. If you donāt want to make coffees, donāt put up a drinks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped at this Greggs to grab a couple of sausage rolls. Customer service the absolute worst. Asked for some Ketchup packets which I could see directly behind the counter, I was told that the items I had purchased didn't "qualify" for sauce? I said to them "maybe you misinterpreted my request as I am happy to pay for it". Nope they don't give out unless it's from the hot food section. Some weird practice here in the U. K (I'm Australian). Last time I went to any business it was in the best interests to sell the customer something they wanted.. Never heard of a place not allowing you to purchase sauce when it sold food? Steer clear of this one. Been to many Greggs and got ketchup without issue. Weirdest experience of my life. I was treated like I asked for a bar of gold and glared at like I was some...
