BEST CHINESE IN G-TOWN!!! 10 out of 10!

Me and my girlfriend wanted to go out for dinner seeing as it’s been a difficult times for everyone and we were a lost cause because of our favourite Chinese had shut down. I mentioned about a Chinese restaurant that I used to go to with my family when I was a child and I remembered how awesome it was!

I asked my dad and he told me it was Peking! Straight away I booked a table within the next 30minutes.

Upon walking up the stairs I was getting feelings of being a child again. It was the same stairs and the restaurant was just as amazing as I remembered. Pure traditional Chinese interior. Amazing customer service from the same owners from 20 years before.

I was shocked to admit that the food was the best chines i have had and blew all the other restaurants out of the water. We have found our new favourite place!

We often heard other customers on different tables saying how they’ve been coming to this same restaurant for 10-20 years. That alone speaks volumes.

Me and my girlfriend picked the chef’s special set menu (B). The food was amazing.

Bringing the family back soon as we are all free for a night!...

The reception and the hospitality was worst. I have never experienced such kind of behaviour in a restaurant. The portion of the food is less for the price. The food we ordered was not up to mark. Sichuan checked did not tasted like Sichuan chicken at all. Only good thing was they serve in hot plates, it that's nothing exceptional about a Chinese restaurant. The behaviour of the lady receptionist was rude and man serving at table was rude too. The lady was laying a table cloth just beside our table where we were still eating our food. No manners to do once we finish our food. The pollens/dust particles from the table cloth was all over. Nonsense of hygiene in this pandameic. Overall a bad experience. Will never ever go back. Will never ever recommend anyone. I had to give one star to write this comment. However, my remarks is Zero for them. Worst restaurant...

I don’t usually leave reviews but felt this place deserved one due to how bad our experience was, we where turned away by our regular Chinese as they where too busy so ordered a takeaway from Peking. This place is extremely expensive, the staff are blunt and bordering on rude .. Ordered a quarter duck and they did not put the sauce in which we only realised had happened when I was all the way home. The chicken balls where undercooked and the batter was soft, the chicken in the middle was pink (I have a photo, which I will try and attach) . The rest of the food was luke warm and just all round poor. Perhaps takeaway is not their strong point as the reviews for the restaurant seem very good. My experience was...
