Treatz — Restaurant in Gravesham

For Fathers Day today me and two siblings decided to take our dad for a dessert after having a good evening up Bluewater previously. After having amazing takeaway service from this dessert parlour, we suggested Treatz to end our evening.

Me and my sister placed the order for our table at 20:37. At the cash register the staff member did warn us of a 10 minute wait for the cookie dough. Which was understandable and I was completely fine with this wait. However, after 30 minutes we had not received one dessert from our 4 item order.

My sister, after waiting this long decided to go to the cash register and ask how long our order would be. I believe it was the same staff member, that served me, said it would be another 5-10 minutes.

If the dessert parlour was busy, I could understand this. However, there was more delivery drivers then there were customers in the restaurant and seemed like this took priority over the face to face service.

After another 15 minutes, my dad and myself had received our desserts. However, my two siblings didn’t, so, my Dad decided to approach the staff to ask about, again, the wait time to receive these.

About 10 minutes later both my siblings dessert finally came out. I have used Treatz before for takeaway and their service has always been amazing, so I thought this would be the same for their in restaurant service.

I have to say when we received the food it was very good and the presentation was great. However, due to the: wait times, asking employees about our food and just the general running of the business. I don’t think I will be visiting Treatz any time soon. Which is very saddening as there desserts...

Terrible experience at the Treats restaurant in Gravesend, absolutely shocking, there’s nobody above the age of twenty working there, which means the quality of service is abysmal as I doubt they had proper training. Went in there one afternoon and it was completely empty, as a reasonable human assumes I thought my order would be served quickly and to a high standard as a result of it being not busy. However, this was not the case, my cookie dough was served after an hour???? I was very very confused to the delays and several times went over to the counter to ask where my food was as I only had an hour break from work. The teenager ( who seemed to be in charge I might add) at the till, whose name began with a Z but I can’t quite remember the exact spelling, was completely rude and ignorant. She did not reassure me my food would come to me quickly and each time I approached her it was like she had forgot my order, bearing in mind I was one of two customers in the entire store. I’m not surprised it was empty when the service is so shocking. To add to my disgust, when the cookie dough arrived it was burnt, when I asked for a refund, I was told that was not possible. Well, it is actually the customers right to get a refund when the service provided isn’t up to standard, by law. Therefore I will also be making a complaint to the franchise about this Gravesend establishment. Terrible, that this treats reflects so badly on the...

We arrived at Treatz and the shop assistant had different rules to people eating in the shop. Everywhere else you order from the table Not in Treatz Gravesend, you have to go upto the counter to order. I have trouble standing in one place, but I had to wait while he had a customer on the phone. So I put the order in for the three of us, I already told the staff that we would be their for my Granddaughter's 16th Birthday. There was a long delay for the order's coming out, they came out one at a time with a big space in between. So we couldn't eat together. So my husband's drink came over first, then mine. Then my husband got his meal, didn't look anything like how it was described on the menu. Then my order arrived, I was well upset and I said well where is the birthday girl's drink and food? He said it would have to wait until he had filled out the phone caller's drinks and food. Then he brought over my granddaughter's drink and food. Then 2 ladies across the table from us made my granddaughter feel uncomfortable and she was upset. The server then came and asked if everything was alright, my husband said his food was gross and he has had food poison and upset stomach ever since we went there. So people eating at Treatz are second to telephone orders! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME...
