I looked through the reviews and saw that in the last 8 months or so there were 4 reviews that mentioned getting sick to varying degrees, so I was a bit nervous to try this place but I did anyway. And. I also got a bit sick. Only a lil bit of the ole diarrhea. Probably a food hygiene problem. It wasn't so bad though so minus just one star for that. I had the classic beef burger, chicken fries thing and hilli bites for £14. For what I got I thought the price was ok. I was really cognisant of how everything looks so different from the pictures. I know that's always the case but here in particular it stood out to me. Maybe the beef patty was what made me notice it so much since I was expecting it to be thicker. It was a decent burger anyway. The spicy sauce I asked for was not bad. The fries were quite good. Cheese sauce, jalapenos and chicken. It was quite flavourful and the chicken was good. The whole thing looks noticeably smaller than the picture though but all the food together was a sufficient quantity. The chilli bites were cheaper than I'd usually find them. They had crumbs on them or something which was different, otherwise pretty standard. They did seem more full than what I'd normally find. They put a 20% discount flyer in the bag. Despite the diarrhea I may go back to use it. 2: I went back to use the discount and I got the fiery something chicken burger "doubled up". So there were three chicken patties and it was rather large. I also got seasoned fries and chilli cheese bites. The portion of fries was not bad and the seasoning was good and tangy. The burger was surprisingly really good. The chickens seasoning was good and the patties were thick and the toppings worked well. The spicy sauce is nothing special but it worked well. Also it didn't make me sick this time. Considering how much better the chicken burger is I am raising the review to 4 stars but do note my current rate of getting sick from this place is 50%. It's also hard to call it exactly value for money since the burger alone was £10.50 with the double up but it was just quite good.

The best burger I've ever had, although I don't eat out often so take my opinion with a pinch of salt. I've never heard of the franchise and went in completely blind, they give you a choice of 4 very different burgers and you choose your sauce to go with it. Then you pay an extra £2.50 if you want fries and a drink. I would describe the burger as being like the one you have when you spend a ton of effort making the perfect burger at home, gently toasting the buns, partially melting the cheese and g the lettuce to be a circle, and placing the toppings so you get the right amount in every bite. The meat was perfect and did that thing good burgers do where it crumbles into juicy meaty gobs of beef as you bite into it. It's the sort of burger you wouldn't be too bothered spending £14.99 on at a fancy pub restaurant, but mine cost £10 (the most expensive burger on the menu with an extra Angus beef patty). My advice is to eat here if you're in the area and in the mood for a good burger and price isn't your biggest concern. Which doesn't sound like very high praise, but you have to consider Five Guys is really close by. If you don't care about quality or want something other than a burger, there's like a hundred other restaurants all within a 10 minute walk.

You can’t go wrong with the food, it’s loaded fries which I love. Overall it’s a lovely place but the major downside is the staffs’ attitude. It’s as if the staff are paying with the looks I always receive when ordering my food. The staffs’ attitude is a major red flag, when getting my food I simply asked for sauce and I was rudely ignored multiple times. Please change your staff if they can’t control their manners, I love burger and Sauce but the staff are slowly ruining my love for it

AVOID...My son purchased a meal which was £10.25 he paid £15 cash. The cashier took the money and said they had no change. When his food was given to him he explained he gave her £15 and wanted his change. No attempt to even open the till again repeated no change!! (Saturday 4th feb) I went myself with my son on Sunday (5th of feb) requested to speak to the manager, while I was waiting for him to come I spoke to the woman who had refused to give my child his change. She denied she was even working on the Saturday. The manager arrived I explained what happened the day before and informed him I had come to collect the money and told him who had said it. She continued to deny she was even working until the manger said she was!!! The manager and another member of staff was apologetic and friendly and after a coupe of phone calls he appeared from the back to instruct the member of staff to give me the money owed to me. This should never of happened in the first place and disgusted it had! I would avoid ever going there again out of principle. Clearly an easy target of refusing a minor his money owed to him for what reason I can only assume!! How many more times has this...
