I really love the food here so much!!! I went here so many times!!As I love sour and spicy food, I like the Duck potato noodle soup so much, the crispy duck is wonderful. Besides I enjoy the Duck noodle soup soup, beef noodle is also very good. And you can choose the meet you want and the type of noodles you like!!! That’s interesting! ! Sometimes I will choose normal noodles sometimes the rice noodles and others the udon! What else! I love the chicken in Szechuan style so much! However I saw some other people they think that is too spicy though! So if you wanna try maybe order less spicy if you can’t stand the chilly. Sometimes I will order some dish like BBQ beef or spicy chicken! Those are all good! I like boiled fish with pickled cabbage too!! If you like fish but haven’t try this flavour you can give a go! I like adventures so I will try most of the food in this restaurant and the result is I love most of them! ! If you ask me which one I like best! Hard to say haha! And you can see many Chinese-made soft drinks! I do recommend them!!!like the peach oolong tea or grapefruit green tea etc. All in all I will come as many times as I can!!! Oh and also it is free to take away! It is really perfect to find such local Chinese food!!

Chinese fast street food is a small, unassuming place off the high street, with roughly 10 tables. I went at 5pm and got a table with no issues, granted it was a Thursday though. I was greeted by a very friendly and polite server who gave me a menu immediately. The menu is simple and easy to understand but if you have any questions the server will be more than happy to help you. Once I ordered it took 5 mins to get my beef noodle soup. It arrived piping hot and was probably the best noodle soup I'd ever tried. Deep and full of flavour, rich and satisfying but clean and light at the same time. 3 slabs of the most tender brisket adorned the top, which fell apart as soon as I tried to lift it with my chopsticks. Beansprouts and plenty of noodles filled the bowl. I opted for some crispy chilli oil halfway through, mainly for my own curiosity. It hit me hard and I enjoyed every single mouthful. The whole experience was lovely. Perfect service, a bustling atmosphere and excellent food. I will be back again and again without a doubt.

CHINESE FAST STREET FOOD New authentic Chinese side street cafe in Cardiff City Centre. Small rustic cafe with a traditional short menu, served by infectiously friendly staff. The lovely lad not only talked me through the entire menu, but was armed with a multitude of photos of the dishes on his mobile phone. So for those who need visual reactance, he’s got you!! I love how they have no website, never mind a social media presence. Trust the people. Trust me. It’s good. This food is phenomenal!! I can boldly say this was the best Chinese noodle dish I’ve had in Cardiff. I aggressively slurped on the Red Braised Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and Boneless Roast Duck Noodle Soup. And just when I thought I couldn’t love the place enough…the lush waiter only sprinted over with a pot of homemade jammy spicy chilli and garlic oil. We are now engaged. 📍 Charles Street: side street opposite Costs Coffee, turn right at Next…next to Jollibee. FIND MORE CARDIFF FOOD REVIEWS ON INSTAGRAM: ohgetstuffed

I love this place. The food is outstanding - we had the beef noodle soup, pork knuckle soup and green beans. The best Chinese food I've had in Wales certainly, but also some of the most authentic I've had outside of Asia (or Vancouver, which is world class). A big bowl of noodle soup will run you ten pound, not bad for what you get! The drinks menu is also comforting to Asians overseas like myself. Soya bean milk, smoked Plum drink, all kinds of tastes of home which are hard to come by. It made me feel good to eat this food. I left with a big smile on my face.

Outside there is a little plastic tent so you can eat outside even when it's cold. It really feels like a little restaurant like you would encounter in Hong Kong. I adore it.

To clarify for the people saying "there was no potato in my soup" - it's kind of a mistranslation. Well, not really, but it's not clear - the NOODLES in those souls are made out of potato starch. So it's not duck and potato in noodle soup, but duck soup with potato noodles. Just to clarify in case anyone has their heart set on potatoes in their soup. Potato is a very uncommon ingredient in most Chinese food, but the starch is used extensively.

Highly recommend for homesick Chinese and for anyone craving a little taste of China in Cardiff. We will be coming back for one last visit soon before...

This place is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. My partner and I ordered soup and a chicken dish, and what we received was an absolute nightmare. The soup was filled with what looked like garbage, and the wooden spoon they gave us was obviously used by hundreds, if not thousands of people before us. It was so dirty, it was sticky with grease and grime. The chicken dish turned out to be a pile of bones from which it was impossible to get a single piece of meat.

But that was just the beginning of our nightmare. Soon after visiting this "restaurant," we began to experience excruciating pain and discomfort in our mouths. Today marks the third week since both of us have been suffering from herpetic stomatitis. Our gums are swollen and bleeding, the inside of our mouths is full of painful blisters, and our lips are covered in sores. Every meal is torture, and we can't sleep at night because of the pain.

We have reported the matter to the relevant authorities and the media to warn others about this place. This disgusting, unhygienic dive should be shut down immediately. We categorically advise anyone interested to avoid eating at this "restaurant." It was like something out of the worst horror movie – stay away from this place...
