Cornerstone — Restaurant in Great Britain

We had our wedding reception at the Cornerstone on 21/06/2025 following poor contact from the previous venue.

Contact was made with Karl in 03/2025 where he confirmed that the date was available. The next day we visited the venue with Karl where he showed us the venue and talked through the drinks package and food package. Karl was very relaxed and calming and couldn’t do enough for us which made planning the wedding with him such an easy and relaxing experience.

As previously noted, Karl could not do enough for us where he would answer the phone or email straight away addressing any queries that we had which was very reassuring. His communication throughout was outstanding and he cannot be faulted. As noted Karl was very relaxed in his approach where he allowed us to bring in our own decorations and he also engaged with venue coordinators to take this stress away from us,

Karl was superb on the wedding day where he was keeping an eye on things and was making sure everything went smoothly which it did.

In addition to this the venue is absolutely beautiful, the sun shone through the stained glass windows. The venue is very grand. The food was absolutely delicious (there was so much food) and the quality of the food was superb.

The staff were also very good and very professional like Karl.

Overall I would highly recommend the venue, the staff and Karl as a manager.

We had our Wedding reception at Cornerstone and it was the perfect choice! Spiro was incredibly helpful, reassuring and responsive throughout the planning - especially as he stepped in with only 10 weeks to go after our previous choice of venue closed down.

That said, Cornerstone was by no means a second choice - the Dewi Sant hall was beautiful with an incredible atmosphere and the perfect size for both the wedding breakfast and a night of dancing. The food was amazing and the staff were excellent - highly...

Slightly odd experience at the Pantry, Cornerstone. On busy Saturday lunchtime in town in the lead-up to Christmas we'd found everywhere else packed. This café was empty when we arrived with a sole member of staff who appeared harassed to take and prepare our order. The menu was limited to sandwiches and soup due to there being only the one member of staff - but to be fair the sandwiches were good. It's a lovely building in a central location - I hope to come back when there's a wider menu on offer...
