I visited your premises aforementioned above, at around 20.05 on Saturday 18th of November. We approached the bar and brought a drink. And stood at a gambling machine within 3 minutes a very rude member of staff came over and demanded we leave, very vocally in a pub full of people. Because she found a bag of controlled substance on the floor, which evidently did not belong to us, which was eventually confirmed after we demanded they check CCTV.
Firstly the premises would be more self aware what has been dropped on its floor should the staff have bothered to do any basic cleaning because the venue was a mess with things all over the floor. Secondly there is a way in which that situation is approached and how you confront a customer when you have actual facts not just jumping to conclusions or stereotypes. Read moreIts not exactly a sports bar cos you,ve got football matches on 2 tv screens with no sound + 2 other tv,s on pumping out loud music videos which means you cant hear the football commentary Also there,s the jukebox on so you,ve got THREE things going on! Rather confusing isnt it! which is not fair for dedicated sports fans So is it a sports bar or what?? Supposed to have had a £50k refit but where? Seems most of it is one coat of grey paint + new flooring/tables/chairs/bench covering refurb & bright lights which had to be fixed cos too bright Toilet window still has no locking bar + gents urinal pipe has still the same green coating and no lock on gents toilet cubicle Its just a cheap makeover to attract working class people with cheap beer Not the place to take a person on your first date or if you,ve got any self respect or decency Money isnt everything Get what you pay for Sorry but owners are just cheapskates Always have been & always will be Nothing changes does...
