The pier is amazing as it is right next to the beach where you can see a fantastic view of the sea and the waves splashing against the shore. It has ice cream and coffee places near it, which all are great and has a cable car ride nearby. The beach right adjacent to it is shockingly good, but it is a little chilly, as the waves are very strong. Luckily, there is shelter, the roof of it is like a hut, and there are several of them, next to each tower on a a bridge, which makes it look fabulous. The parking around this area is mostly 90 minutes free parking in the inside lanes, with no return in 90 minutes. Near it, there is a big mountain, and at the top, there are rides, which will be amazing for any kids. There is a rollercoaster, but u can control how fast it goes, as it is only you in it, and u go down a slide at whatever speed you want, you take 2 turns for this for the price of £11. Then, there is something called dragon drop, where you are sitting in a circle, then you are dropped down a big wet slide. There is also golf which is fun and everyone mostly enjoys this. I recommend this place especially for those with kids.

Absolutely love the pier so much to do for all ages. Great pub at the end to sit out and admire the views of the Great orme, little orme or just out to sea,Watch the fishing. Reasonably priced cafe for where you are. Tastiest doughnuts ever. Rides for the children and an inflatable plaything with slide. Has an old fashioned bumpy slide were you sit in a mat. Has lots of little shops located all along with your usual gift shop/holiday souvenirs. Crystal hut for all your aromatherapy oils, insence and crystals, pet shop with the nicest shop owner ever definitely a must to go there. 2 arcades with loads to do in there for the children. (One at start of pier has a lot more). Ice cream stalls, hotdogs, chips plus loads more. Ferris wheel to capture the views from high up and only £4. It's an absolute must to visit and see how spectacular a victorian pier is and what a fantastic job the owner is doing.

It's okay. I felt like there were more dogs than people on the pier. Just messing. But there were a LOTTT of dogs and I went on a weekday but there were still a lot of people. I did feel uncomfortable because people kept staring like I was a monkey in a zoo (yayy niqabi gang!) Instructions on rides aren't clear but the ferris wheel people let us go around 4 times and each time we were at the bottom we kept giving side eye in case it was our turn to get off so thank you to the Ferris wheel people for letting us stay on. In terms of the whole experience - the beach, 4/5 is a pebble beach, very bumpy to walk on (bring appropriate footwear!) but the last fifth is a sandy beach where most people were gathered. Mind you I witnessed people peeing on the sand in front of everyone and kids walking around stark naked, I didn't know where to look and just felt dirty because of the pee and the smell so didn't take my socks or shoes off. The water on the shore is very brown and dirty not like the clear one in Porthcawl, Wales. There were boat rides available and a Punch and Judy show (where Punch thwacks the baby against the wall multiple times and yeets him down the stairs if you're into that sort of stuff). Also saw a man doing a petition to get sand back on the beach. Buttt, if you do go or happen to find yourself in a last minute trip you can't get out of, be sure to go up the trail behind the pier - there's a bit of hiking but it takes you to this beautiful and well maintained scenery at the top where there's very less people but loads of flowers, trees, a little stream and it's so relaxing. And if you're feeling a bit daring there are cliffs and caves you can climb past (but I wouldn't recommend this as it's just jagged rocks and the sea below and preservation of life comes first). If you want to go to a nice beach in Wales go to Porthcawl instead - has to be the best one there hands down. This is a shameless review but Porthcawl has everything a beach should have, clean water to dip your toes in, SAND!! - lots of it, fair rides, donkey rides etc. Etc.

Lovely pier, apparently the seagulls are similar in their criminal activity to Whitby although we never fell victim here. There are many types of ice-cream available whilst on the pier, my little girl opted for the 5 flavour whippy but there were also ice-cream rolls and your regular scoops. Lots of other standard pier stalls and shops selling the usual and there is a small arcade at the end, also some food places and I think bars but I could be mistaken as that's not something we usually look for. I am unaware of all of the parking options around the area but I opted for a pay and display one a 10 minute walk away as we had done the tram and cable cars before hand both something worth adding on to your trip but make sure you bring cash for the cable cars as they don't take card. Sadly I didn't take any picture whilst on it but here are a couple from the cable cars of the pier

Free to enter and surprisingly long walk along pier. Original entrance at present undergoing refurbishment,so entrance nearer town. Begining of pier amusements for younger generation and typical seaside booths. One shop stands out as sold LLaundudno goat souvenirs which were both amusing and cute. As proceed along pier good views of crescent Bay and esplanade of white victoriana buildings. And other side great orme. One little shack shop stands out further up pier and that is Arbor falls outlet where free tasting of whiskey/gin and other delights await. Plenty of typical food outlets and at end of pier a cafe. If one does nothing else other than walk to end and back again..good views and is free!! There is one hour car parking near amusement entrance and small short stay car park on side of road by original entrance..3.50 was cheapest tariff which I think was forc4 hours.
