Kokoro Bedford — Restaurant in Great Britain

I came here for salmon sushi and got just what i wanted. Was £9.95 which is about right for what i got, although a bit more sushi would also seem fair…. The salmon all tasted lovely, the rice could use a dash more flavour but it was nice nonetheless, the list of ingredients on the box was useful too. The soy sauce was slightly lower quality however and the “wasabi” was actually just horseradish, dye, and flavouring! Explains why it stung me right in the brain, use sparingly, especially since there isn’t much soy sauce provided, I’m sure i could have asked for more though. There is also some pink ginger and a lemon wedge which are very nice. The provided salad could be a bit better too, but overall im still happy with my food. When i entered the sushi box i wanted was not available, so the sushi chef prepared it within 5 minutes as promised and was very courteous. One grudge i have is the severe lack of ambience, the place is clean, bright, and modestly decorated, but it could do with some light music since the whirring of the refrigeration isn’t exactly pleasing. The availability of Halal meat is also very good, but there are still pork options for those more into pork. Overall I’m still pleased...

Honestly I never had a bad bowl from Kokoro. Other than their beef and pumpkin, I have tried everything else. Even though it looks kinda pricey, the portion sizes are huge and are extremely generous with the amount of meat. Friendly staff that are great and keeps the place tidy. thought i’d give this place a try since the MK one is amazing and ordered a sweet chilli chicken. Was extremely disappointed, whoever works at that kitchen needs to be sacked. IMMEDIATELY.
