A afternoon date with the husband, decided to try here as we walking past, looked lovely on the outside. I asked my husband to go and see if there was seating as it was a Saturday lunch time, they did. Went in and it was very busy and nosiy. Now I had my baby with us in a doona carseat pram, and I could barely move it into the tightest seating area squashed between a couple who was sat at the bar/ balcony located on secound level, it was so tight it was uncomfortable, so I moved my chair around and even then was still uncomfortable. 15 mins after seating the waitress came and took order two coffees, one tuna ciabbata, one BLT on brown and a side of chips. It took sooooooo long for two coffees after ordering, and over an hour for our food after ordering. It came and I wasn't blown away, salad was nice, coleslaw was homemade and tuna ciabbata was a tuna ciabbata, just ok. Chips never came and because it was so busy, noisy and squashed you couldn't move to go and complain, so quickly ate then went to pay, informing them that we never recived the chips, so they never charged us for them. We was supposed to have dessert but it was sooooooo cramped, and didn't fancie waiting an hour for it to come we didn't bother. Presentation of food was OK. My overall review is this, if you have children and even a pram stay away, a dog stay away, it says dogs welcome honestly I wouldn't take my two chocolate cocker spaniels here and thier puppies, there is plenty if pubs in the area with more room, accepts dogs and families and same priced food. I certainly won't be going again and definitely wouldn't recommend, not even for a date...
Read moreDon’t not go unless you want a hospital visit !!!!!! We came for lunch here after recommendations from friends who work and live within Richmond. We were seated and drinks arrived quite swiftly and then ordered our meals. I ordered the special whilst my wife ordered from memory the Greek Chicken Pita. We waited a while and then the food arrived. To my disappointment my wife’s chicken was served raw ! Not only 1 piece but all the chicken that was served which must have been about 5 pieces ! We raised this with the staff who seemed pretty relaxed about this issue and the only response I received was that they would take it of the Bill ! The whole team simple didn’t seem to understand the severity of serving raw chicken to my wife ! When asking if the chef agreed it was raw we were simply told yes ! No apology was offered or any kind of good will gesture, we begrudgingly paid the remaining bill and the left. The team were more interested in laughing and joking between themselves and opening the Amazon parcels that had...
Read moreI'm giving the staff a recommendation and the food. The food was excellent. We were a party of 6 and 2 dogs. Unfortunately the dogs didn't take to another dog we were sat by and kept trying to get to him and kept barking. Very stressful for us and we were concerned we were upsetting other diners. But instead of asking us to leave the staff offered to make up another table for us upstairs out of the way of the other dog, which we accepted and all was fine after. Plus it was nice to have a room all to ourselves. But can't fault the staff for that. And we apologised to the people who owned the other dog who were also very nice and we ended up having a pleasant conversation about theirs and our dogs. All in all it was a good night. The staff were great, the food was really nice and for all our worries no-one else complained or seemed bothered by our dogs outbursts but apologies for anyone who reads this who was there. I would recommend the...
