I recently visited the Greek café Opson, and it exceeded all my expectations! The amazing atmosphere, incredibly delicious food, and friendly staff make it a perfect spot for brunch.
The original gyros is simply outstanding! For vegetarians, there’s a great option like baked eggs, which can be upgraded with juicy sausages if you’re not vegetarian and craving something meaty. The poached eggs with salmon are a true culinary delight that you absolutely must try.
The staff deserves special mention—they’re welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations. They create such a cozy vibe that you feel right at home.
The coffee is fantastic, and the hot chocolate is a dream come true for anyone with a sweet tooth. Opson is a place you’ll want to visit again and again. Highly recommended! ❤️

Read moreI found this place by chance when another cafe i had organised to go to shuts at 2pm on a Saturday 😱 and what a find! Its beautiful inside, i loved the art work and the colours. It was far to warm to sit inside, not often we can say that in Glasgow although yesterday was lovely, sunny and hot 😎 thankfully there was table outside with our names on it🙏 the lovely staff brought out some extra chairs. It wasn't that busy when we arrived although started to fill up. The flat white was👌 the cake's were huge, i opted for the bougatsa spinach and cheese it was super tasty, ive never tried before , my friend had the savory version that i did have slight envy over😀 they equally loved and i managed to get a taste so all good. The staff were lovely, patient ( we did take our time trying to decide🙄 )very efficient and homely. Absolutely loved it. You cant book it though definitely worth waiting for. I...
Read moreLovely staff and such a good lunch spot. Visited Glasgow for the day with a friend. She got the chicken, parmasan, spinach, sundried tomato and lemon mayo sourdough sandwich. And I got the feta, olive, lettuce, tomato and oregano brioche sandwich. Both were toasted perfectly. Wow these were incredible. We inhaled them so fast. Just unreal flavour. I actually wanted the pork and plum one but they had ran out so I chose the feta one instead and i wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much as I thought I would if I had the pork. I WAS WRONG. IT WAS SO GOOD. We shared our two plates and were very happy with it all. I havn't had such good sandwiches in a while. I wish Opson was near me so I could visit often. I had mine with a lovely ginger and lemon tea. We took away some glass bottled orange juice, cakes and a cookie too. I would love to go back if I'm...
