As big fans of Rice Style we were a little nervous trying Thai Season. But James made us feel very welcome and assured us of the restaurant's genuine Thai credentials. When the food arrived it was really tasty and felt very fresh, even the prawn crackers looked and tasted very authentic. I had the Massaman beef curry which was great and a healthy portion size and at £16.95 two pounds cheaper than Rice Style. My wife had the Paad King which she loved. The red wine was very quaffable and the bill at the end very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Service was excellent, so congratulations to James and the team. Read moreI called ahead to see if Thai Season had any last minute availability for a group of 6-8 people after York Pride, and they said they would try their best to fit us in at the end of the evening. When we arrived we only waited around 15 minutes for a table at the extremely busy restaurant. The staff were really friendly and brought us drinks and crackers to the waiting area. They even took our orders so we wouldn’t have to wait a long time at the table. Once seated our food arrived promptly and it was delicious! The staff were so friendly and chatty including the manager, it’s rare to get good customer service now days and you could tell the staff were happy to be there and were soo attentive!
