Went for an ice-cream at the hatch next to the main entrance, so can’t attest to the interior but can speak for the ice-cream! Not the high quality gelato served at the other places nearby, however the Mr Whippy / Softwhip type ice-cream they sell is tasty and the main pull for me was having it dipped in crackling mint chocolate! I waited almost 10 minutes at the hatch for 2 people to be served in-front of me which seemed like an insane wait, although I think that was due to bumbling customers and not the staff, as the attractive brunette waitress served me for my order, with a smile, very quickly!

We were so disappointed going into this cafe over other cafes around the area. We found the staff not very friendly and quite rude. The hot chocolate was just like warm water couldn't even taste anything once the marshmallows had gone and the brownie tasted cheap. Plus the toilets you have to go outside for and considering it was a cold and windy day it wasn't ideal.

Stopped for a bite to eat, ordered at the counter 1 cappuccino 1 tea 2 BLT rolls. All self-service other than the preparing of the BLT rolls order carry buzzer food ready, then go back for your food, hence self-service no table service. But the upside the BLT rolls were delicious and the cappuccino was great all in for £20 OK.

We spent a Sunday afternoon here in October half term. Me my wife and 2 children. My 4 year old had the biggest ice-cream I've seen in ages. My 9 month old was in her pushchair eating.Food was a little expensive but it is a prime location and it was hot and good. Drinks where good as well. Inside was clean as was outside seating. My only reason for 2 stars not more was the Staff Smoking. We sat outside around the corner. Big mistake as 3 members of staff came and sat at table next to us 1 at a time and lit a cigarette and smoked it . Not nice as we gave up and went inside we followed the last smoker in she never washed her hands and went straight behind the counter to serve. So we went from Good to Poor very Quickly and with this sort of practice here we won't be...

Shame about the rudeness and attitude of the staff.

Looked a very nice place to stop for a coffee and a sandwich, we entered and the short fat one (fairly pleasant at this point) said for us to choose a table and then order at the counter. We found a table and I asked her if there were toilet facilities, she told us we had to pay before using the facilities. Ok, no problem but no need to be so abrupt.

They had sold out of Granary bread and I don’t eat white, we had rolled eyes and mocking gestures between the small fat one and all the other staff of which there were about 5 of.

One of us, under protest didn’t eat but the goulash soup was delicious.

There are plenty of other cafes nearby which we will use over our...

They have signed up to the Eat Out to Help Out government scheme but are not taking part. Wouldn't mind so much if there was notices stating they weren't. Also best be aware they didn't have any open toilets.

The cafe itself is probably the worst I have been to in regards to protecting customers from covid. There were little forms to fill in on the tables for track and trace but you have to grab a bunch to just pull one out. Pencils are on the table for anyone to touch. Tables are far too close together.

Staff seem a bit snotty. Didn't go back. Visited a nicer cafe in the area a few times, that gave the discount and was not trying to...
