We were a hen party of 8 who went to the Fallen Angel bottomless drag show to see the beautiful queen, Zelda Stone! It was AMAZING!
Zelda was incredible and got the whole room going, everyone was singing and dancing by the end of it! She bought so much energy to the room and bought in audience participation as well.
The lunch was delicious, we had arancini, ciabatta and salad. But don't be put off with it being not your usual brunch food, as it turned out it was enough for me, and very tasty. I would say maybe adding an extra arancini ball on top might be better in future as that's what the rest of the party felt was needed.
We were initially surprised that the bottomless rules were applied only if the whole table had finished their drinks (great with a small party, not so much with ours). However, one of the managers spoke to me at the end which was a nice touch, and took all feedback on board so I think this might be reconsidered for future shows.
After brunch had finished the cocktail menu arrived and they were priced at 2 for £15 and stunning! My new favourite drink is Satan's Margarita (a spicy one)!
Overall, it was a great and well worth 5 stars, even with the minor bits...
Read moreRecently, The Fallen Angel won a Customer Service Award.
So far so good, but here is the rub.
It is the norm to be ineligible for an award if part of the organisation that is handing out the award, or promoting the award.
The award ceremony was handed out by Experience Guildford. The Fallen Angel is a board member of Experience Guildford.
And when you think it can't get any worse, it does.
The award was sponsored by St Edwards, a property developer intent on destroying Guildford, an ancient market town in the Wey Valley, with a multi-block 13-story development that is completely out of character with Guildford.
The Fallen Angel has appeared in a promotional video promoting the ghastly eyesore development. A development strongly opposed by the local community and Guildford Borough Council.
The Fallen Angel is a reference to the Devil. The name is apt.

Oh dear, what a pathetic response, fails to address issues raised, but comes across as a very unpleasant specimen of humanity.
Not sure what I'm missing out on from this tacky venue, when I frequent some of the top cocktail bars...

Our original waitress Keira, said that we could go to the bar and order drinks before starting our bottomless drinks. We went to the bar to order drinks, and as we were waiting, Heather rudely told us "Just for future reference, it's table service to don't come to the bar." Her tone of voice was extremely unfriendly. Having worked in hospitality previously, I would never speak to a customer the way she spoke to us. Our waitress Keira did say "I forgot to tell them it was table service." To which Heather gave her a dirty look.
This really put a dampener on the start of our afternoon, and made us feel anxious and stressed about eating and drinking at your establishment. We did have a wonderful afternoon, but the start of our experience was ruined by your staff member.
The food was not what I expected. I had the chicken burger and chips, which were the same standard as what I could have ordered from a kebab van. The chicken burger looked as if it had been...
