I had great hopes for this bakery especially after reading the reviews but I was so underwhelmed. The breads are expensive with just too many faults. The white sourdough was over baked with the top being burnt. Having black bits fall off the top of the loaf when cutting is not good. The New York Deli sandwich has Great filling but the bread is tough and very chewy. I don't know whether it's an issue with the flour or over kneading but it just made the sandwich a chore to eat. The Croque Monsieur croissant was OK, but at the price it needs to be GOOD not just OK. Just a little overdone giving it too much of a caramel flavour. The crumble fruit danish was tough and chewy on the outside. The danish overall was fair but not a good flaky pastry. I really wanted to like this bakery and seeing the bakers out the back is a novelty and maybe it was just an off day but I really couldn't recommend them.

Simply the best coffee shop in harborough! We had a New York deli sandwich and Croque monsieur croissant of which each big was better than the last. Absolutely fabulous coffee too. Service was notably lovely too. Quirky in the fact you order from a hatch in the wall but it still provides that true comforting coffee shop feel. Truly couldn’t recommend more.

I passed by Market Harborough and by coincidence I found this shop I wish if I had time to test all the menu lol but I've tried what in the picture it was very delicious and I recommend Tea lovers to pick one of the tea bags, overall friendly staff you feel welcome.👌🏻

I really don’t get the hype about this place. Yes the food is nice but it’s very over rated. A couple of years back I messaged on instagram asking why they were advertising and charging different prices. I was immediately blocked and heard nothing more. The queue is always long and doesn’t seem to go down quickly. My mum went here yesterday and pre-ordered 3x soups to collect at lunch. When we went to collect they only handed over 2 (eventually got 3) then we were told there was no spoons. So rather than sit outside and enjoy it, we had to tackle the traffic to get home to make sure soup was warm. Not sure what we would have...

I've been here quite a lot now: sorry I don't have any photos to share but it's because I'm too busy eating whatever I've purchased!! I don't eat meat but I've loved everything else I've tried here. The hummus and olive flatbreads are yummy and today I enjoyed the Bombay potatoes one - could really get all those tastes including the delicious mango chutney, yum! The fresh bread is wonderful. They also do delicious coffee. And it's a big bonus that everyone I've encountered who works there is so friendly and helpful. I recommend getting there early because they sell out fast! Not before...
