Ordered a meal for collection from here. The website stated that there was a free drink on orders over £10. When I arrived to pay for and collect food, the waitress informed me it was for orders over £15. What followed was rude service, accusing me of being wrong and trying to start an argument. This all despite me agreeing with her that she must be right but that the website was probably outdated and needed an update (something which I am pleased to see has now happened). I am a pretty understanding individual with things like this, having worked in this sector before, but I left an encounter where I was trying to simply point out their error absolutely fuming by the till woman's adversarial attitude.

This definitely ruined my enjoyment of the food, which was fairly good for the price and, were it not for the service, I would recommend. Judging by other reviews this is not a unique experience which is worrying to see. I will not be returning and I will be advising my friends and family who visit the area to...

Staff were very friendly and it was lovely and clean and well-decorated. We arrived at 12:15/30pm, lunchtime, in the hopes of getting lunch but were told they don’t serve lunch until 1pm, we can only get breakfast/brunch. Having already eaten breakfast, we were a bit disappointed but decided to wait until 1pm. The food took quite a while to come, approximately 20/30 minutes, there were other tables in there but I wouldn’t say it was really busy. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t great for us. It was palatable but the chicken caesar burger didn’t have any ‘caesar’ flavouring, the beef burger was burnt and dry, and the chips were cooked well but way too salty. I do find it is a little overpriced, it’s nearly £17 just for a salad, and £18.50 for mussels (which only come in portions of 1 kilo). I was disappointed at the quality of the food and the price it was priced at. The girls serving were lovely though and the place...

We had breakfast here. The menu looked exciting and a bit different than a fry up. When the food arrived the poached eggs were very over cooked. Knowing how tricky this can be my mum and I decided to eat our breakfast before the rest got cold. A waitress came over and asked how our meal was, at this point we said that the eggs had been overcooked but the rest was lovely. The waitress was unimpressed and said "okay". At the end of our meal she came over to collect the plates and my mum asked whether she had passed on out feedback, and she said she had. We asked what was said, and she said she didn't know. We explained that if you ask how something is then we expected either a replacement or an apology. Neither of which happened.

For the price of the meal, I expected more, and I certainly expected...

the best mussels🐚 I have ever eaten (and I really have eaten a lot in different places) when it comes to England, this is the best place and the tastiest mussels (and that sauce OMG) perfectly made, the taste is amazing, I'm already thinking when to come back for more. Additionally, we ordered a Caesar salad 🥗and I respect restaurants the most because they serve specific portions of meat in salads 👌🏻👏🏻 my husband ordered a steak🥩 (it was good, a bit stringy, especially since my husband eats steak a lot and makes it himself and knows beef, it was ok) but we definitely recommend the mussels and the Caesar bibten salad, the chicken is yum. beautiful place, atmospheric, by the sea, great👌🏻 the garlic butter seemed a bit suspicious to us (we think it was margarine, which is not ok)

Went here during old town week with some friends for a birthday lunch . Which they all enjoyed very much . I on the other hand did not enjoy my meal . I love sea food so thought id try the seafood linguini which I left most of The seafood was overcooked and the pasta under cooked .so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. But as I say my friends enjoyed their meals they were reasonably priced and all presented well . The staff were nice although they didn't ask why id left my meal 😕 so I didn't tip them . I give it four stars because of my friends meals were enjoyed . For four main meals and four drinks the bill came to £93 .

We tried this place on a Sunday evening, trying to find somewhere to eat after 7pm (most kitchens were closed at this time of the day). A few tables outside, a nicely decorated interior (full of old french vintage posters and signs) with chairs/tables. We tried the burgers and we were a bit disappointed by the food : the fries were a bit too dry and too crispy (personal taste of course) and the beef wasn't very juicy and tasty. Anyway, it did the job but the quality/price ratio ain't the best un town. The lady in charge of our table was very friendly 🙏
