Greggs — Restaurant in Hastings

We always loved Greggs but this branch is particularly having issues with service. We have visited today (27/06/22 at 9:47) and while waiting on the queue i have noticed that the staff member at the till (called Marcia) was extremely rude to her colleagues. When my turn has come she took my order and i paid, asked for a receipt first she ignored me then when i repeat she said she can't give the receipt. I requested my receipt once again and she got really mad continued to serve on the next till calling "neeext". One of her colleagues obviously popped in just changed the till roll and printed my receipt and kindly apologied. When i took my orders to the table i have noticed that all food was stone cold (3x steak bake) i went back to the till and she was already knowingly told me without me asking "WE DON'T REHEAT" Calm down lady, i have even not asked for anything yet! The other staff came and asked offered either refund or the fresh one will be available in 20 minutes. At least he was trying to help nicely. Marcia, you maybe couldn't sleep well, or you don't like you job or maybe you hate yourself, i don't know. But make a favour to who works and visits this branch and start yoga or seek some help for your anger management! Otherwise this branch will have loads of bad reviews due to...

There appeared to be quite a nice selection of each food type and they were adequately staffed.

I visited on a Tuesday, it was the ninth of November and was just before 11am. (2021) The store was becoming a little busy but plenty of room and barely had to wait before being served.

It looked clean and tidy too.

The breakfast menu finishes at 11am, this would be anything that's to be cooked upon ordering, rather than choosing from what's already within the shelves or under the glass counter.

Please bear in mind that if requiring something that's considered to be from the breakfast style food items, food wont be cooked if ordering too closely to 11am either, even if several minutes beforehand as they tend to have already started clearing away and switching off appliances within the kitchen area (so as not to take new orders which by the time the food is cooked may result in the finishing or/and serving, creeping over the 11am...

We placed an order last week for 6 hot sandwiches and drinks as well as doughnuts and sausage rolls through Just Eat. When the food was delivered there was a hot chocolate missing and my Southern Fried Chicken Baguette had been wrongly sent as a Roast chicken and stuffing. We let it go as our lunch break at work was over. However we placed another order today (click and collect direct) for 2 bacon baguettes, 1 bacon and omelette baguette, 1 bacon baguette with extra sausage and one bacon and sausage baguette along with doughnuts and sausage rolls, 3 hot chocolates, 1 cappuccino and a bottle of water. Total disaster today, one bacon baguette had extra sausage ticked on it but no sausage inside. My bacon and sausage baguette had one small sausage in there - nothing like the photo and the bottle of water was missing.
