The Good Place — Restaurant in Hastings

One of the nicest place we have ever visited.Went today for lunch with my husband after reading the reviews and we loved it!From the decor,to the staff and the food. Going through cancer treatment,I have to be very careful with eating out and very happy with this place as everything was fresh !I dont know what type of oranges they squeeze but the fresh orange juice was absolutely gorgeous and we both had the roast chicken roll which was served with very nice crisps. The lovely man brought us icy water as we sat down which was such a lovely little gesture. The staff here are absolutely lovely and the live plants everywhere are so so beautiful!! The cakes looked delicious and hopefully we can go by tomorrow as we will leave Hastings.

Ps:to the nasty woman with 1* review about the orange juice,you should be ashamed...

My mum, sister and son stopped here on the way out of Hastings after a 3 day visit to the seaside. We couldn’t believe our luck when we found this little hidden treasure serving lunch (with loads of vegan/veg options) and alcohol at the same time! The setting reminded us of cool, quaint spots that we visit in London, with great music and a fabulous vibe. The staff was so lovely, really polite and kind and as a result the family rated this spot as the best food and environment across our entire trip x if you’re in Hastings….you have to stop in a for a bit you won’t be...

Their baked goods look great, but don't take your eye off the coffee guys. Ordered a flat white which tasted like luke warm milk. Arrived in a large mug, which was already a read flag. Took one sip, left it as it was undrinkable. Seemed like they were too busy taking catering orders over the phone rather than concentrating on their in-shop customers. Asked if they used two shots (which is standard in flat white) they said it was made with one shot. Rather than offer to rectify the issue like any decent establishment would, they were happy...
