The best the best and the best For fish and chips 🍟 Everything fresh delicious and worth it for every peny !!!!!! Go for it go blind and order fish and chips you will be never disappointed 🤪as they are the best seller in their town. We tried the fish and chips here last year and last week again we tried and still feel the same taste 👅 We are happy to come again and enjoy our food and great time too. Undoubtedly with no regrets just lemon 🍋 is missing in the fish 🐟 in the end when they serve. 💯 recommend for everyone they have many more options to try but I recommend fish and 🍟 ✌🏻

The fish was divine, perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The chips were real good as well. Very good chippy. Lost points because seating area wasn't very large or comfortable, service was not excellent and the prices were a little high - 35p for a sauce packet is taking the mick! Overall, good chippy and if you find yourself here, do go and get yourself some - just maybe bring your own sauce!

Great spot after hike! Queue moves quickly. Food is freshly made to order. The blonde lady behind the counter was very nice and quick with our order. Battered sausage was delicious! Curry sauce wasn't too salty, which I loved! Great prices. Options to add salt and vinegar. Definitely recommend!

Had high hopes coming from Canada where we can get excellent fish and chips and I wasn't disappointed having my first at Castleton Chippy!!

Waited the extra few minutes for the fresh batch of cod to come out of the fryer. Perfectly cooked fish, thick and flaky, and the crispiest batter. Rounded it all off with mushy peas and a cream soda.

I took some chips to go for my celiac host, mistakenly saying "yes" to the gluten-y malt vinegar out of habit. Returned with the chips and the chippy - and chirpy - team happily replaced them free of charge. 100% satisfied....

Visited tonight whilst staying in the beautiful Castleton for a long weekend. My partner loves fish and chips but I usually prefer something lighter. Both of us were very happy with our choices! He had the full fish & chips with mushy peas and he said it was one of the best he’s had in a long time. I opted for 2 fish cakes and mushy peas (both homemade which I was really impressed with) - absolutely delicious! I wish all fish and chip shops made homemade fish cakes now…

Great service with a smile and an absolute bargain too at around £14 for both of...
