Balti Raj Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Hinckley and Bosworth

I dropped in a few days ago with one of my daughter's, we were shown our seats with no waiting, ordered some drinks and left to continue to look at the menu. After a few minutes a second person come over and we ordered as we asked a few questions the waiter advised my daughter about the meal that she had just ordered, l was surprised that he took the time and effort to advise, we continued to orderd our meal. Food arrived, the meal that my daughter ordered was a little different from what you normally would have! As it was quite thick, one of the staff came back over and was very polite and helpful.. the food was hot, tasty and enjoyable, throughout our meal we were asked if everything was okay, though l see this as to hopefully enjoy our meal and to see if we require more drinks, l also see this as engagement for advice, after we had finished and the plates being taken away one of the sfatt members showed my daughter on how they fold their napkins...overall the service was second to none...the staff very helpful and the food very hot and enjoyable, we were relaxed and that made the whole experience a enjoyable evening. I would recommend Balti Raj for their service and food to anyone that is looking for that little bit extra, than just sitting down for a meal! I've never written a review before but thought I had to tonight because of how amazingly perfect this dining experience was. Every body inside the establishment was friendly and professional we were seen to immediately, our food was presented beautifully and we were hardly waiting at all. This is by far the best Indian food we have ever had, the korma was the perfect mix of creamy and delicious, there is not a bad thing to say about the food, the decor, or the wonderful staff. The staff even offered us complimentary after meal alcoholic drinks, to which we had to decline unfortunately as I was driving and my partner can not drink alcohol on medication, but we were really pleased with this small gesture of kindness and hospitality. Balti Raj is by far the best Indian restaurant in Hinckley. I've tried every single restaurant Hinckley has to offer, and this one wins hands down. This is the kind of place where it doesn't matter if you haven't been there in a while, they will remember you and sit you exactly where you like to be seated. This place gives you a nice homely feel, and the waiters aren't to intrusive, but check up on how you're doing, and always keep your drinks topped up.

Sounds pricey? Nope, this place is also the cheapest! Not the drinks as such (unlike the Millennium Balti whos £1 shots attract under-age teens with bumfluff for upper lips). But you can feed two people with a main and rice each for under £20. (and they don't mind you ordering just...
