This café appears to be a hastily repurposed service area, complete with exposed HVAC, wiring, and steelwork, though, to their credit, someone at least took the time to paint it all white. The herringbone-patterned linoleum flooring is unexpectedly pleasant and stands as the one thoughtful touch in an otherwise barren, echo-filled void. No curtains or voiles, seriously? Forget comparing it to Titanic's third-class saloon, even in its current state, 12,500 feet beneath the North Atlantic, partially crushed and inaccessible, that space still has more warmth and charm. That said, the galleys were destroyed in the disaster, so I’ll concede this converted warehouse does offer better menu options. Hospitality could be dramatically improved by installing a series of six-foot-tall man-eating plants. At the very least, they’d break up the industrial monotony and keep diners alert. Snappy snappy That said, the coffee was sublime. Strongly recommend bringing your own houseplant, if you value your sanity. Or a cactus. One final observation: the floors are remarkably flat, so access should be excellent for wheelchairs, pushchairs, Zimmer frames, skateboards, hamsters in those ball things they love rolling around in, and, of course, hasty evacuations should the suggested man-eating plants get a little carried away.

Dubious at first but alas the Harry Ramsdens fish and chips taste exactly as you'd get at the restaurant on holiday so great stuff just only one size of fish though...

I went for the Harry Ramsden's large chips. I feel that it'd work better with proper salt, vinegar and ketchup containers rather than sachets but the chips were nice.

It really hasn't changed much and still feels like the Sainsbury's Cafe just with a more franchised menu - I'd like more vegetarian options as there were only breakfasts available.

With that being said, there was good service and the staff were helpful but feel like it could do with a few minor adjustments, but I know it has only been open for a few days so I'll give it the benefit...

This place is absolutely fantastic. I was served by a lovely man named Ben who was really helpful and accommodating. My last visit was the first time I have visited since it became this new restaurant. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of food and the service (thanks to Ben I’ll definitely be returning)

The only thing I would say is that the menu was bigger but hopefully this will be expanded soon! This won’t stop me from coming though. Thanks again to Ben who made my...
