Piggys Hollow Cafe — Restaurant in Hinckley and Bosworth

First of all..walking in to the cafe.. it has a certain smell to the place..and the smell has nothing to do with food..it smells damp.. we only came here because our normal cafe was closed..I myself used to be a chef..so I know how to cook.. the breakfast here is absolutely disgusting..I ordered the big breakfast...I was watching the lady warm amost of the food up in the microwave..the bacon is already pre cooked aswell are the sausages and beans and tomatoes..the only thing they used a pan for...was my fried egg... this place is on my list as one of the worst cafes ever ..all I could hear was dinging of the microwave..even the cheap cheap bread that was toasted was disgusting with the...

We were not impressed. The sausages were horrible paste like contents and like rubber. Eggs fried hard and the beans sweet cheap tasting. Worse of all was the toast. It comes pre spread with cheap spread. Not toast but soggy bread with melted spread. You could ring the fat out of the bread. No vegetarian option with no effort to serve anything but a normal plate with no meat. No extra items to compensate but...

Simple food but really well done. A great place for breakfast or lunch when you are on the go. Clean, straightforward and cash only. No fancy stuff but I had the ploughman's and the portion was fantastic and the hand carved ham was lovely.
