Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Hinckley and Bosworth

Rude member of staff, not everyone but she made me and my 8 year old nephew feel uncomfortable when ordering a hot chocolate we assumed it would come with cream and marshmallows (wasn’t asked when ordering) she just presented us with marshmallows so I asked her about the cream she then announced extremely loudly that we hadn’t paid for cream - poured the hot chocolate into a bigger cup which then dripped all down the sides and made us pay 50p extra for cream - the queue of customers were shocked that a mistake made on her part was made out to be our fault. We didn’t get the name of this lady but she had red hair. Unfortunately the hot chocolate spilt (luckily cold by this point) and my nephew asked me why she was smiling behind the till at this. A man helped us out and cleared up after us which was great however the barista behind the counter made us feel extremely uncomfortable - to the point where my nephew said as we left “that lady doesn’t seem very nice.” Not a...

Very rude staff member, who made 3 of us move outside, even though there was only 2 in the shop, she allowed an OAP, to stand less than 3 foot from the man in front of him, & just said "Dad you're next" Told me & the lady behind that we were too close, even though we were stood on the feet markings! Looks like daddy gets preferential treatment. BTW, you can get at least 6 people in at a time due to the floor markings. Left & went to the crescent, where the staff are much friendlier & speak to you like you're human & not doing them a favour by buying from them! Never again. A total disgusting place to visit. Tables never cleared till all the tables are full of used plates and cups. When served it's like being served by zombies especially one of them! Internet... Lol don't get me started but there's never any. Computer logs in then in wifi drop down always stakes no Internet!!! It's the worst ever costas I know of!!! They close one half of the seating area about 4pm so you can only use the disabled toilet and when here you see disabled people struggle to the door and always have to wait. I would avoid this costas in Castle Street Hinckley...
