NOT GLUTEN FREE. If you are gluten free do not believe their website OR their staff when they tell you their pizzas are gluten free they are bare faced lying!!!! I walked in this evening after reading it online and not really believing it. Guy on the desk says 'yes, any pizza you want is Gluten free!' I ask him what the dough is made out of and he tells me 'flour'. I had to inform him that flour is made of wheat/gluten and asked to see the flour they use for 'gluten free pizza', to which he proudly showed me the packet which clearly says 'WHEAT FLOUR' on it. When I informed him of this, he and his boss started telling me I was wrong and that it's only *sometimes * they get gluten free deliveries which is why they advertise it on their website. The website makes it seem every single pizza near enough is gluten free, which was confirmed when I asked in person! I informed the manager/owner that it's ridiculously dangerous and could put someone in hospital and get him shut down and he didn't seem in the slightest bit bothered. As I was walking out the shop he was rudely muttering to the other staff about 'gluten free' as if coeliac disease is such an eye roll of a fad! It makes me really poorly 😭 the lack of education is frightening and I dread to think how many people will have been...
Read moreI wish there were a rating lower than one star, because even that feels too generous. I genuinely wouldn’t wish my experience at Pizza Town on anyone. What I found in my pizza was so vile and revolting that it’s burned into my memory forever. I’m not exaggerating when I say I nearly lost my mind when I saw it. The fact that this place dares to call itself a “restaurant” is laughable. The hygiene standards are apparently nonexistent, the staff couldn’t care less, and the entire operation feels like a health hazard wrapped in cardboard. When I reached out to complain, they acted like I was the problem — no apology, no refund, no accountability. I’ve eaten questionable food in sketchy places before, but nothing — and I mean NOTHING — compares to this horror show. If there were a competition for the worst dining experience on Earth, Pizza Town would win first place, hands down. Eating here was worse than death. At least death would’ve been quicker and less traumatizing. Avoid this place at all costs. Burn your money before you ever think about...
Read moreCannot recommend this place enough. First of all fantastic helpful customer service on the phone when ordering. I have Coeliacs disease and always struggle to get a nice pizza. We visited a friend in Little Paxton, and ordered from AJ Pizza Town as it was the nearest, and were really surprised they did GF!! (Not being a big chain like Prezzo). When my pizza arrived it looked THAT GOOD I had to ring back up and say I think you have made a mistake with the GF pizza. Well there was no mistake - the chef makes his own GF bases FRESH from his own dough. No pre-ordered cardboard GF bases like most places I go to :( Absolutely awesome, soooooo tasty!. AND!!! I could have the chips too! - as they are cooked in their own fryer. My friends also said their (normaal) pizzas were incredible too. Even sent free lollies and drinks as a thank you for ordering with them. Thank you Michael and Co. GREAT...
