Poppy's Vintage Tea Room — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

A group of friends and our babies had an afternoon tea here, and it was amazing. Firstly they were so accommodating with booking our table, with allergies and preferences for sandwich fillings and bread type, when we got there both ladies helped making sure we were happy and comfortable at the table, helping to out our prams to one side and get the high chairs out. As much tea as you can drink and sparkling elderflower. It was a simple afternoon tea but it was done extremely well - the sandwiches were gorgeous and filled generously, the scones were great and the cakes were fluffy and delicious. Throughout our sitting the staff checked if we wanted more drinks and looked after us but were not overbearing....

came here for afternoon tea with my partner a week or two ago. in comparison to other places we looked at the price was on average half the price per person but that didnt compromise the quality of the food. the food itsself was amazing and felt very personal as if it had been made just for you as the cakes looked like full size whole cakes minitiarised which i thought was a nice touch. the selection of sandwiches was to my taste and you can if you wish specify in more detail what you would like but on this occasion we opted for a surprise.

will be returning. hopefully these small independent businesses continue to prosper during these tough times. st neots is a better place for having poppys...

I booked Poppys vintage tea room for my mums birthday and I could not have been more blown away by the whole experience! The staff were attentive, kind, thoughtful, funny and just all round nice people. They made it so easy for my 2YO to enjoy himself and the food! The food was DELICIOUS! We were all absolutely stuffed and my mum and son even got given some free cake to take home! Very reasonably priced for what you get and I think the best cream I’ve tasted in my life is HERE! I really couldn’t big this place up enough, if you fancy a quick cuppa, a lovely cake, a meet up with friends/family or just to pop in and enjoy by yourself I think would be very very VERY worth it!
